Ejercito se reúne con la Comisión de la Madre Tierra en Siuna
Con el objetivo de evaluar las problemáticas de los puntos críticos en las áreas protegidas y en los territorios indígenas en el Caribe Norte, el Ejército de Nicaragua realizó una reunión interinstitucional con la comisión de la madre tierra.
Lo anterior fue dado a conocer por medio de una nota de prensa, la cual detalla que durante la reunión el jefe del batallón ecológico BOSAWAS coronel José Román Espinoza Iglesia, transmitió el saludo del comandante en jefe del ejército de Nicaragua General Julio César Avilés Castillo.
La nota puntualiza que el Batallón Ecológico “BOSAWAS aseguró que seguirán trabajando en coordinación con las autoridades municipales, gobiernos territoriales indígenas y regionales para seguir fortaleciendo la seguridad, estabilidad y la paz del territorio.
En la reunión participaron autoridades municipales de Rosita, Bonanza, Siuna y Prinzapolka, así como presidentes de gobierno territorial Sauni As, Sauni Bas y Matumbak Bas; el presidente de la nación Mayangna, presidenta del consejo regional, representantes del gobierno regional y el jefe de la Policía Nacional del Triángulo Minero.
Army meets with the Commission of Mother Earth in Siuna
In order to assess the problems of critical points in protected areas and indigenous territories in the North Caribbean, the Nicaraguan Army held an inter-institutional meeting with the Mother Earth Commission.
The foregoing was made known through a press release, which details that during the meeting the chief of the BOSAWAS ecological battalion, Colonel José Román Espinoza Iglesia, conveyed the greeting of the Commander-in-Chief of the Nicaraguan Army, General Julio César Avilés Castillo.
The note points out that the Ecological Battalion “BOSAWAS assured that they will continue working in coordination with the municipal authorities, indigenous and regional territorial governments to continue strengthening the security, stability and peace of the territory.
The meeting was attended by municipal authorities of Rosita, Bonanza, Siuna and Prinzapolka, as well as territorial government presidents Sauni As, Sauni Bas and Matumbak Bas; the president of the Mayangna nation, president of the regional council, representatives of the regional government and the head of the National Police of the Mining Triangle.
