Ejército alerta a pescadores por mal clima en el Caribe
El Ejército informó a los dueños de embarcaciones menores, turismo, armadores y dueños de acopios, que se mantiene monitoreando un mal tiempo que afecta el mar Caribe con olas desde 1.5 a 2.0 metros y vientos de 20 a 25 nudos, en las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Norte y Sur.
De acuerdo con una nota de prensa, de persistir este fenómeno, las capitanías de los puertos de: Bluefields, El Bluff, Corn Island y Puerto Cabezas; puestos de control de embarcaciones y puestos de tropas navales, suspenderán las emisiones de zarpes a las embarcaciones menores, que tengan como destino mar abierto hacia los bancos de pesca o que realicen navegación marítima con destino a comunidades costera, islas o cayos adyacentes.
Por lo antes mencionado, se les informa que deben mantenerse atentos al seguimiento de este fenómeno, tomar en cuenta las medidas de seguridad necesaria para resguardar la vida y proteger las embarcaciones.
Así mismo, se les recomienda a las embarcaciones que ya se encuentran en labores de pesca tomar todas las medidas de seguridad y de ser necesario trasladarse a puerto seguro, esto con el fin de evitar hechos que lamentar.

According to a press release, if this phenomenon persists, the port captains of: Bluefields, El Bluff, Corn Island and Puerto Cabezas; Vessel control posts and naval troop posts will suspend the emission of sailings to smaller vessels that are destined for the open sea towards the fishing grounds or that carry out maritime navigation to coastal communities, islands or adjacent keys.
Due to the aforementioned, they are informed that they must be attentive to the monitoring of this phenomenon, take into account the necessary security measures to protect life and protect boats.
Likewise, vessels that are already fishing are recommended to take all security measures and, if necessary, move to a safe harbor, this in order to avoid unfortunate events.
