Encuentro para analizar la veda de productos del mar en Corn Island
El alcalde de Corn Island Cleveland Webster y la vice alcaldesa Nadeska Cuthbert sostuvieron un encuentro con representante de INPESCA en donde dieron a conocer los instrumentos y mecanismo de veda de las especies langosta “espinosa” del Caribe, caracol rosado, pepino de mar y camarón que serán implementadas con el comité de veda conformado por INPESCA,MARENA, FUERZA NAVAL, DIR.PESCA ARTESANAL, POLICIA NACIONAL, SECRETRIA POLITICA, CONSEJAL RREGIONAL y representante de la pesca artesanal e industrial.
Con el objetivo de monitorear, vigilar y controlar que la veda se lleva a cabo según la ley de pesca 489, así permitir que la especies se reproduzcan y tengamos una pesca responsable y sostenible.
