El primer encuentro fue un auténtico duelo de pitcheo entre Bismarck Salazar (Mineros) y Adonis Acuña (Guerreros). Durante cinco entradas, ambos abridores silenciaron las ofensivas rivales, manteniendo el marcador en cero. El juego se definió en el cierre del séptimo inning, cuando los Mineros aprovecharon un error del relevista Santos Gómez para anotar la carrera de la victoria. Segundo Juego: revancha segoviana y explosión ofensiva
En el segundo juego, los Guerreros tomaron revancha y se impusieron a los Mineros en un encuentro de alto voltaje ofensivo. Bonanza’s Duncan Campbell stadium witnessed an exciting series between Miners and Warriors, where both teams demonstrated their quality and dedication on the field.
First Game: pitching duel and Miners victory
The first game was an authentic pitching duel between Bismarck Salazar (Mineros) and Adonis Acuña (Guerreros). For five innings, both starters silenced the rival offenses, keeping the score at zero. The game was decided at the end of the seventh inning, when the Miners took advantage of an error by reliever Santos Gómez to score the winning run. David García took the win in relief, while Gómez took the loss.
Second Game: Segovia revenge and offensive explosion
In the second game, the Warriors took revenge and beat the Miners in a high-voltage offensive encounter. Oscar Chow, the Miners’ starter, did not have his best start and was deciphered by the Segovia offense. Despite the home runs of Roberto Martínez and Dwight Britton (2), the Warriors managed to turn the score around, thanks to a timely offense and a lack of control in the Mineros’ pitching.
