Exitosa jornada de vacunación en Triángulo Minero con la aplicación de mas de 94 mil dosis
Como exitosa fue valorada la jornada nacional de vacunación que realizó el Gobierno de Nicaragua por medio del Ministerio de salud y se articuló con el Ministerio de Educación, las universidades y los gobiernos locales en el Triángulo Minero, así lo dieron a conocer las autoridades en diferentes actos públicos realizados en Bonanza, Rosita, Siuna, Mulukuku, y Paiwas en el Caribe Norte.
Hasta el momento los dos municipios que han cumplido en un 100 por ciento su meta son Siuna y Bonanza, aún están aplicando vacunas los municipios de Rosita, Mulukuku y Paiwas, pero ya se tienen mas de 94 mil dosis aplicadas en todo el departamento y esperan llegar a la meta este fin de semana informaron las autoridades del Ministerio de salud.
En Siuna el doctor Rigoberto Chávez dijo que gracias a la articulación con el Gobierno municipal de Siuna y las dos universidades URACCAN y Martin Lutero, se logró cumplir la meta en un 10 por ciento por ello la jornada fue todo un éxito.
Los estudiantes de la carrera de enfermería intercultural de URACCAN y enfermería en Martín Lutero, fueron de mucha ayuda para llegar a la meta, reconoció el director del Hospital Rigoberto Chávez.
El doctor Elvin Centeno responsable de epidemiologia del hospital Carlos Centeno de Siuna dijo que el éxito es del Ministerio de Educación, de la Alcaldía, de las universidades y del personal el Ministerio de salud que trabajaron muy duro para llegar a la meta.
Las estudiantes de enfermería intercultural de la Universidad de las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense URACCAN explicaron que les toco entrara a comunidades muy lejanas para aplicar la vacuna y fue una experiencia muy bonita para ellas.
Jasuara Toruño estudiante de enfermería intercultural dijo que con los vehículos del Ministerio de Salud llegaban a un tope de allí les toco que caminar cinco a seis horas, en algunos casos los comunitarios llegaban a esperarlos con bestias para que el viaje sea menos agotador, pero fue una experiencia que les ayuda a tener mayores y mejores aprendizajes.
El Gobierno ha asegurado la inmunización de niños y adultos con las vacunas VCG, neumococo, antipolio, MMR y los refuerzos a niños y niñas del Triángulo Minero, Mulukuku y Paiwas.

In Siuna, Dr. Rigoberto Chávez said that thanks to the articulation with the municipal government of Siuna and the two URACCAN and Martin Lutero universities, the goal was achieved by 10 percent, which is why the conference was a complete success.
The students of the intercultural nursing career of URACCAN and nursing in Martín Lutero, were very helpful to reach the goal, recognized the director of the Hospital Rigoberto Chávez.
Dr. Elvin Centeno, head of epidemiology at the Carlos Centeno hospital in Siuna, said that the success comes from the Ministry of Education, the Mayor’s Office, the universities and the personnel of the Ministry of Health who worked very hard to reach the goal.
The intercultural nursing students from the University of the Autonomous Regions of the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast URACCAN explained that it was their turn to enter very distant communities to apply the vaccine and it was a very beautiful experience for them.
Jasuara Toruño, an intercultural nursing student, said that with the vehicles of the Ministry of Health they reached a stop from there they had to walk five to six hours, in some cases the community members came to wait for them with beasts to make the trip less tiring, but it was an experience that helps them to have greater and better learning.
The Government has ensured the immunization of children and adults with VCG, pneumococcal, anti-polio, MMR vaccines and boosters for children from the Mining Triangle, Mulukuku and Paiwas.
