Ampliarán vacunación voluntaria contra Covid-19
La vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo destacó este miércoles a partir del 3 de mayo se aplicará la primeras dosis a trabajadores de primera línea de la Salud, Gobernación, Aduana, puestos fronterizos y mayores de 55 años con enfermedades crónicas
Rosario indicó que la aplicación de esta primera dosis se realizará en hospitales departamentales, regionales y nacionales.
La dirigente precisó que la vacuna Covishields es la que se ha aplicado en la primera etapa, que concluye este próximo viernes 30 de abril en Bilwi, para 167 mil 500 personas.
Durante su intervención cotidiana a través del Canal 4 de Televisión, Rosario destacó que el viernes 30 de abril se aplicará el refuerzo de la vacunación en el municipio de León, Chinandega, El Viejo, Ocotal, Jalapa, Ciudad Darío, Terrabona, Matagalpa, Nueva Segovia y otros lugares, para las personas que por alguna razón no han podido vacunarse y que están en el rango de edad estipulado.
Expresó que la segunda dosis de la vacuna debe ser aplicada según recomendaciones técnicas de la OMS y de los laboratorios fabricantes, nueve semanas después de la aplicación de la primera dosis, por lo que a partir del 8 de junio comenzará este proceso con la misma secuencia y en los mismos lugares.
Durante su intervención, Rosario explicó que la primera dosis ofrece un 70 por ciento de inmunidad, lo que significa que nos debemos seguir cuidando, aplicando las medidas, realizando nuestras actividades en espacios abiertos, promoviendo el uso de las mascarillas, el lavado continuo de las manos y las precauciones con los adultos mayores, como ha indicado el Ministerio de Salud.
La dirigente también informó que este jueves 29 de abril proseguirá la vacunación voluntaria en Managua, Ticuantepe, San Rafael del Sur. En este sentido, comenzará en Las Minas, Paiwás, Mulukukú, Siuna, Rosita yBonanza.
Murillo anunció que entre el 10 y el 20 de mayo en todos los centros de salud se vacunarán a los adultos mayores contra la influenza, ya que se ha trabajado con la OMS en la adquisición de 190 mil dosis.
En el sistema penitenciario de Tipitapa fueron vacunadas contra la Covid-19 las personas en el rango de edad que corresponde, que así lo quisieron, manifestó.
Rosario destacó la labor permanente de protección a los nicaragüenses contra la Covid-19 sin exclusión ni discriminación.
