Investigaciones indican que mestizos fueron atacados por indígenas en Mukuswas
El conflicto que tiene de fondo las tierras indígenas en Mukuswas, Bonanza son investigadas por las autoridades del Triangulo Minero, en el Caribe Norte, que indican que no hubo emboscada y que los indígenas fueron los que llegaron a la casa de los dos mestizos y les dispararon.
Fuentes extraoficiales indicaron que las investigaciones preliminares de las autoridades indican que los indígenas Demetrio Miguel y Eliezer Miguel llegaron a la casa de las victimas a quienes despojaron de una motosierra y otras pertenencias y les dispararon con escopeta.
Uno de los heridos fue Maudiel Centeno 20 años de edad, herida de bala en la espalda estado grave que luego murió en el hospital de Bonanza y Jasser Mendoza 19 años de edad herida de bala en la espalda y su estado de salud sigue siendo grave en el hospital de Bonanza.
Las investigaciones que se han hecho en la zona indican que uno de los afectados había comprado la propiedad a otro mestizo en la comarca las Quebradas, que los indígenas llama Wadauwas, donde se dio el conflicto.
Lo que se maneja también como parte de las investigaciones es que los indígenas mayangnas dispararon con escopeta, lo cual contradice a uno de los comunitarios de Mukuswas, que se comunicó con Sistema de Noticias del Caribe quien afirmó que se trataba de una emboscada donde resultaron un muerto y tres heridos dos de ellos indígenas mayangnas y uno está desaparecido.
Los indígenas alegan ser victimas de los mestizos que ellos han llamado toma tierras, y los mestizos uno esta muerto y el otro se debate entre la vida y la muerte, en el hospital de Bonanza.
La violencia no puede continuar, se debe buscar una alternativa pacifica para que tanto indígenas y mestizos puedan respetarse el uno al otro y buscar vivir en armonía, no se puede justificar ningún tipo de violencia, ni de los mestizos ni de los indígenas.

The violence cannot continue, a peaceful alternative must be sought so that both indigenous and mestizos can respect each other and seek to live in harmony, no type of violence can be justified, neither by mestizos nor indigenous people.
