Bomberos controlan conato de incendio en Laguna de Perlas
El posible recalentamiento en un generador de energía originó el conato de incendio en una empresa telefónica; en el municipio de Laguna de Perlas, en el Caribe Sur.
Lo que pudo haber sido un potente incendio; fue controlado gracias al rápido actuar de los miembros de la Dirección General de Bomberos de Laguna de Perlas la noche de este primero de mayo.
Según versión aún no confirmada por las autoridades bomberiles; el incidente se dio a eso de las 11 de la noche cuando el generador de energía eléctrica de la empresa telefónica Claro; aparentemente se recalentó debido a que este se encontraba trabajando; ya que desde horas tempranas de la noche la cabecera municipal se encuentra sin fluido eléctrico debido a la caída de un árbol sobre las líneas; dicha caída afectó tres crucetas, por lo cual se hecho a trabajar el generador de energía para mantener en funcionamiento la torre de transmisión de esta empresa.
El generador se encuentra ubicado en la parte trasera del edificio el cual da con la nueva estación de Policía en Laguna de Perlas.
Cabe destacar que dicho municipio años atrás no contaba con una estación de bomberos; sin embargo, hace más de un año las familias de este municipio caribeño cuentan con una estación y con dos autos cisternas para garantizar la seguridad de las familias; algo que apoyó a que este incidente no pasará a más.
Investigaciones
Los apaga fuego se encuentran en el lugar realizando las debidas investigaciones para determinar la veracidad de la versión del recalentamiento del generador o si fue otro motivo el que originó el conato de incendio.

According to a version not yet confirmed by the fire authorities; the incident occurred around 11 at night when the electricity generator of the Claro telephone company; apparently it overheated because it was working; since from early hours of the night the municipal head is without electrical power due to the fall of a tree on the lines; This fall affected three spreaders, for which the power generator was put to work to keep the transmission tower of this company in operation.
The generator is located at the rear of the building which leads to the new Police Station in Laguna de Perlas.
It should be noted that this municipality years ago did not have a fire station; However, for more than a year the families of this Caribbean municipality have had a station and two tank cars to guarantee the safety of the families; something that supported that this incident will not happen anymore.
Research
The fire extinguishers are in the place carrying out the due investigations to determine the veracity of the version of the overheating of the generator or if it was another reason that originated the outbreak of fire.
