Magistrados afirman que hay transparencia en proceso electoral

Dos de los nuevos magistrados del Consejo Supremo Electoral, Brenda Rocha y Cairo Amador, coincidieron este jueves que el proceso de cara a las elecciones del 7 de noviembre marcha de forma transparente.

«Es importante que nuestro pueblo sepa que los términos que están establecidos es porque están mandatados en la ley. La ley dice que debemos constituir al menos 5 meses antes (de las elecciones) los consejos departamentales y regionales (…); lo otro es la campaña electoral tiene que ser 75 días de la fecha establecida para el sufragio«, sostuvo Rocha.

En cuanto al padrón electoral, manifestó que debe estar listo 60 días antes de las elecciones y 45 días antes debe enviarse a los partidos políticos que están participando.

«El proceso electoral no comenzó con nosotros, comenzó con los partidos políticos (…) de su decisión de participar. Es como una carrera y los atletas antes de la carrera deben tener la disposición física y mental para esa carrera. Sobre todo si es maratón, deben estar coordinados«, dijo por su parte Amador.

Desde el 11 de mayo está establecido el Calendario Electoral, especificó Rocha, la nueva presidenta de ese Poder del Estado.

«Hoy nos vamos a reunir para revisar las inscripciones que realizaron los partidos políticos y alianzas para dar su resolución entre hoy y mañana«, agregó.

Habló además del reglamento de ética de cara a las elecciones, sobre cómo se va a llevar este proceso de una fiesta cívica.

«Formalmente nosotros tenemos el Calendario en término de la especificación de los tiempos en distintos procesos. Pero esto comenzó hace rato. Todo partido político tienen que hacer todo un trabajo interno«, acotó Amador.

«La confirmación del orden de las casillas que va con cada partido político, eso también vamos trabajándolo. Entre el 4 y 6 de junio ya deben estar conformados todos los consejos electorales, departamentales y regionales. El 7 de junio deben estar conformados en sus regiones», agregó por su parte Rocha.

También se informó que se está cedulando en 132 municipios en el país.

«La verificación ciudadana, la continuación de la cedulación (…); tenemos 132 municipios donde se está cedulando permanentemente. Estos espacios es para el pueblo de Nicaragua. Hacemos el llamado a que participemos en esta fiesta cívica con respeto, paz y armonía«, aseveró la presidenta del CSE.

Reiteraron que habrá una coordinación estrecha con el Ministerio de Salud, de cara a que en el marco de la pandemia existe un protocolo de prevención durante la verificación y las elecciones.

Para el 24 y 25 de julio será la verificación. El proceso es que el ciudadano o ciudadana revisa en qué Junta Receptora de Votos ejercerá su derecho al voto.

Rocha además señaló que los consejos municipales y regionales una vez constituidos; tienen que enviar su propuesta de terna y en todos esos espacios se debe tener un 50-50 entre mujeres y hombres.

Two of the new magistrates of the Supreme Electoral Council, Brenda Rocha and Cairo Amador, agreed on Thursday that the process for the November 7 elections is running transparently.

«It is important that our people know that the terms that are established are because they are mandated by law. «Today we are going to meet to review the registrations made by political parties and alliances to give their resolution between today and tomorrow,» she added.

She also spoke about the ethics regulations for the elections, about how this process of a civic party is going to be carried out.

«Formally, we have the Calendar in terms of the specification of the times in different processes. But this started a long time ago. Every political party has to do all internal work, «Amador said.

«The confirmation of the order of the boxes that goes with each political party, we are also working on that. Between June 4 and 6, all the electoral, departmental and regional councils must already be formed. On June 7 they must be conformed in their regions, «added Rocha on her part.

It was also reported that identification is being made in 132 municipalities in the country.

«Citizen verification, continuation of identification (…); We have 132 municipalities where it is being permanently certified. These spaces is for the people of Nicaragua. We call on us to participate in this civic celebration with respect, peace and harmony, «said the president of the CSE.

They reiterated that there will be close coordination with the Ministry of Health, in view of the fact that within the framework of the pandemic there is a prevention protocol during verification and elections.

Verification will be on July 24 and 25. The process is that the citizen checks in which Vote Receiving Board will exercise their right to vote.

Rocha also pointed out that the municipal and regional councils once constituted; They have to send their shortlist proposal and in all these spaces they must have a 50-50 score between women and men.
