MARENA entrega incentivos ambientales para restaurar zonas afectadas por huracanes en el Parque Nacional cerro Saslaya
El Ministerio del Ambiente y los Recursos Naturales MARENA, realizó en la comunidad El Hormiguero, la entrega de incentivos ambientales, que les permitirá a los protagonistas restaurar las áreas degradadas del Parque Nacional Cerro Saslaya, en la Región autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte, las cuales fueron afectadas por los Huracanes Eta e Iota.
En la actividad participaron 45 protagonistas de El Hormiguero y Aguas Sucias, a quienes se les hizo entrega de un mil plantas de las especies de mango, caoba y granadillo.
Durante la entrega de los incentivos ambientales, los beneficiarios manifestaron la voluntad de integrarse a las jornadas de reforestación y apoyar el establecimiento de viveros comunitarios.
Esta plantas serán sembradas en las unidades productivas y y áreas afectadas por los huracanes que afectaron el pasado mes de noviembre 2020.
Cabe destacar que el Gobierno Regional de la Costa Caribe Norte, representantes de los Comité de Agua Potable, maestros, líderes comunitarios y protagonistas, fueron participe de dicho evento.

The Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources MARENA, carried out in the El Hormiguero community, the delivery of environmental incentives, which will allow the protagonists to restore the degraded areas of the Cerro Saslaya National Park, in the Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast, the which were affected by Hurricanes Eta and Iota.
45 protagonists of El Hormiguero and Aguas Sucias participated in the activity, to whom a thousand plants of the mango, mahogany and granadillo species were delivered.
During the delivery of the environmental incentives, the beneficiaries expressed their willingness to join the reforestation days and support the establishment of community nurseries.
These plants will be planted in the productive units and areas affected by the hurricanes that affected last November 2020.
It should be noted that the Regional Government of the North Caribbean Coast, representatives of the Drinking Water Committee, teachers, community leaders and protagonists, participated in said event.
