CSE reitera gratuidad en certificado de nacimiento a nuevos ingresos
Las autoridades del Consejo Supremo Electoral (CSE), reiteraron este viernes que tanto el Certificado de Nacimiento, como la Cédula, se otorgan de manera gratuita para los ciudadanos que van a solicitar su documento de identidad, por primera vez.
De acuerdo con una nota de prensa, los trámites para los certificados de nacimiento, están disponibles en las ventanillas del registro central del estado civil de las personas o en las ventanillas de los registros civiles municipales, en este último caso en la del municipio donde fue inscrito el nacimiento del solicitante.
La nota explica que en el caso de los menores de edad o con alguna discapacidad, deberán presentarse el padre, madre, tutor o representante legal, a cualquier de las instancias antes mencionadas para la tramitación del Certificado de Nacimiento, en todos los casos, se deberá presentar copia de cédula del padre, madre, hermano, tío o abuelo.
Señala que la Dirección General de Registro Central del Estado Civil de las Personas, estará dando seguimiento al cumplimiento de las disposiciones establecidas para la realización de este trámite, en uso de las facultades que le confiere la Ley 331, Ley Electoral; así como el Arto. 13, numeral 12; Ley 152, Ley de Identificación Ciudadana, Arto. 47; Ley No. 40, Ley de Municipio, Arto 8.
CSE reiterates free birth certificate to new entrants
The authorities of the Supreme Electoral Council (CSE), reiterated this Friday that both the Birth Certificate, as the ID, are granted free of charge to citizens who are going to request their identity document, for the first time.
According to a press release, the procedures for birth certificates are available at the windows of the central registry of the civil status of persons or at the windows of the municipal civil registries, in the latter case in the one of the municipality where it was registered the birth of the applicant.
The note explains that in the case of minors or with any disability, the father, mother, guardian or legal representative must appear at any of the aforementioned instances for the processing of the Birth Certificate, in all cases, You must present a copy of the identity card of the father, mother, brother, uncle or grandfather.
It indicates that the General Directorate of the Central Registry of the Civil Status of Persons, will be monitoring compliance with the provisions established for carrying out this procedure, using the powers conferred by Law 331, Electoral Law; as well as Art. 13, numeral 12; Law 152, Citizen Identification Law, Art. 47; Law No. 40, Municipality Law, Article 8.
