Ondas tropicales generarán más lluvias en Nicaragua
Dos ondas tropicales que ingresarán al territorio nacional provocarán lluvias en todo el país, informó este lunes el director de Meteorología del Instituto Nicaragüense de Estudios Territoriales (INETER), ingeniero Marcio Baca.
“Las condiciones de lluvias están planteadas para la primera mitad de esta semana, hay que tener cuidado con la velocidades de los vientos principalmente en el caribe”, advirtió Baca.
Las precipitaciones se estarían presentando en horas de la tarde y por la noche, principalmente, de acuerdo al INETER.
El especialista explicó que las intensas lluvias del fin de semana pasado, principalmente en el Caribe de Nicaragua, se debieron a un fenómeno llamado “flujos monzónicos” que está afectando a Costa Rica y Panamá.
“Es una corriente de viento que genera y transmite mucha humedad hacia el interior del territorio nicaragüense”, agregó Baca.

The specialist explained that the heavy rains last weekend, mainly in the Caribbean of Nicaragua, were due to a phenomenon called «monsoon flows» that is affecting Costa Rica and Panama.
«It is a wind current that generates and transmits a lot of moisture into the Nicaraguan territory,» added Baca.
