Policía Nacional descarta atentado en Catedral de Managua
Las autoridades de la policía nacional en un comunicado emitido sobre el proceso de investigaciones que realizan investigadores y peritos de esa institución y los bomberos, indicaron que no se encontraron residuos de pólvora artesanal en el incendio ocurrido a la imagen de la sangre de cristo en la catedral de Mangua.
No se detectaron residuos de pólvora artesanal, sustancias explosivas de origen industrial, ni acelerante tipo hidrocarburo (gasolina, diésel, kerosine o Thiner) en muestras de material combustionado indica el informe oficial emitido por las autoridades policiales.
Las autoridades indicaron que se descarta ocurrencia de cortocircuito o recalentamiento del sistema eléctrico como fuente de inicio del fuego.
Así mismo el informe indica que en el lugar del hecho se encontró atomizador plástico con alcohol (volátil de fácil combustión).
Las autoridades indicaron que en articulación co los Bomberos continúan las investigaciones y peritajes de criminalística para el esclarecimiento del hecho.
National Police rule out attack on Managua Cathedral
The authorities of the national police in a statement issued on the process of investigations carried out by researchers and experts from that institution and the firefighters, indicated that no residues of artisan powder were found in the fire that occurred in the image of the blood of Christ in the Mangua cathedral.
No residues of artisanal powder, explosive substances of industrial origin, or hydrocarbon-type accelerant (gasoline, diesel, kerosene or Thiner) were detected in samples of combustion material, according to the official report issued by the police authorities.
The authorities indicated that the occurrence of a short circuit or overheating of the electrical system is ruled out as the source of the fire.
Likewise, the report indicates that a plastic spray bottle with alcohol (volatile with easy combustion) was found at the scene.
The authorities indicated that, in coordination with the Fire Department, criminal investigations and expert reports continue to clarify the fact.
