Inicia el ingreso ordenado y seguro de hermanos nicaragüenses procedentes de Costa Rica

El Ministerio de Gobernación del Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional, a través de la Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería, da a conocer a las familias nicaragüenses, que hoy domingo 02 de agosto 2020, a las 14:16 horas, por el puesto fronterizo de Peñas Blancas, inició el ingreso ordenado y seguro a nuestro país, de herman@s nicaragüenses, procedentes de Costa Rica, quienes portan resultado negativo de la prueba RT- PCR en tiempo real para COVID-19, cumpliendo con la Resolución Ministerial MINSA 358-2020.

El Ministerio de Salud en cumplimiento a las medidas sanitarias, realizó revisión rigurosa para descartar fiebre o síntomas respiratorios relacionados al Covid -19 y les orientó cuarentena de 14 días en sus domicilios.

El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional, a través del Ministerio de Gobernación, continúa trabajando y reafirmando el Compromiso de Paz, del Resguardo a la Salud y a la Vida.

Un 12% de nicas varados en Peñas Blancas dan positivo a Covid-19

De los 169 migrantes nicaragüenses varados en Peñas Blancas, que fueron testados con la prueba Covid-19 por el hospital privado Clínica Bíblica, 148 resultaron negativo y 21 positivos del virus, así lo informó Raquel Vargas, Directora General de Migración y Extranjería de Costa Rica.

Las personas que se contagiaron de coronavirus, no podrán ingresar a Nicaragua, por lo que Costa Rica habilitó un albergue para ponerlos en cuarentena y brindarles atención médica, expresó la funcionaria costarricense.

Vargas explicó que las personas que dieron negativo, se les dará el examen, que fue realizado en el Hospital Clínica Bíblica, para que puedan realizar el proceso de ingreso a Nicaragua, que será además con la coordinación de las autoridades nicaragüenses.

Las personas positivas serán trasladadas a una zona, dispuesta para este fin, en el puesto fronterizo con Peñas Blancas para que puedan ser atendidas. Estas personas están en buenas condiciones de salud.

La Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería elaboró un protocolo exclusivamente para más de 500 nicaragüenses varados en la frontera de Peñas Blancas.

Vargas dijo que el reingreso a Costa Rica, al que hace mención el protocolo (LS-SI-022 y la resolución N° DJUR-0109-07-2020-JM), solo aplica para quienes se encuentran en este momento en la frontera norte de Peñas Blancas, al lado nicaragüense y quienes ya habían completado el proceso de salida de nuestro país.

12% of Nicaraguan families stranded in Peñas Blancas test positive for Covid-19
