Rusos ratifican seguridad y eficiencia de Sputnik V
El director del Fondo Ruso de Inversión Directa (RDIF), Kirill Dmítriev, reiteró este miércoles que la vacuna Sputnik V demostró la mayor seguridad y eficacia desde su registro oficial el 11 de agosto de 2020.
Los datos sobre el uso del fármaco durante la vacunación masiva en Argentina, Bahrein, Hungría, México, Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Rusia, Serbia y Filipinas indican la ausencia de eventos adversos graves como miocarditis o trombosis de las venas cerebrales, indica un comunicado del RDIF.
Advirtió que en países donde son aplicadas diferentes vacunas al mismo tiempo, el medicamento ruso resultó ser uno de las mejores en cuanto a seguridad y eficacia.
Sputnik V fue registrada en Rusia hace un año, lo que la convirtió en la primera vacuna contra el coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 aprobada de manera oficial en el mundo.
El Fondo Ruso recordó que el inmunizante fue el primero de la plataforma de adenovirus en utilizar un enfoque de refuerzo heterogéneo (cóctel de vacunas). Al usar dos vectores diferentes para dos dosis de la vacuna, se logró una respuesta inmune más fuerte y duradera, apuntó.
En la actualidad, Sputnik V se encuentra registrada en 69 países con una población total de más de tres mil 700 millones de personas.

The Russian Fund recalled that the immunizer was the first from the adenovirus platform to use a heterogeneous boost approach (vaccine cocktail). By using two different vectors for two doses of the vaccine, a stronger and more durable immune response was achieved, he pointed out.
Currently, Sputnik V is registered in 69 countries with a total population of more than 3.7 billion people.
