Carlos Alemán Cunningham hizo una conferencia magistral sobre la “Gestión de Gobierno de la Región Autónoma Costa Caribe Norte”.
La Doctora Ivania López Calero, Coordinadora Técnica de la Oficina de Gestión de Riesgo del Gobierno Regional, presento el tema: “Participación de las Mujeres en el Sistema Regional de Salud”.
Profesionales costeños debatieron temas relevantes en las mesas que se implementaron, entre las que se destacan:
1. Avance de la Educación Intercultural Bilingüe, por el Msc. David Patterson, Delegado Departamental del MINED.
2. La Educación Intercultural en la Costa Caribe, como reconocimiento del derecho, Msc. Selmira Jarquín, Docente de la Universidad BICU.
3. Avance en la Profesionalización del Magisterio en la Costa Caribe, Msc. Lichie Francis.
4. Avance de la Producción Agropecuaria, Msc. Wilford Davis, decano de la FIAD de la BICU.
5. Impacto de la Minería Artesanal en la región, por el Msc. Thomas Quijano, responsable de investigación BICU-Bonanza.
6. Forestaría, actividad de resinación, PhD. German López, Coordinador de Investigación de la BICU.
El evento estuvo acompañado por presentaciones culturales, en las que participó la comunidad educativa de esta casa de estudios superiores.

Coastal professionals debated relevant topics in the tables that were implemented, among which the following stand out:
