Más de 16 mil policías resguardarán elecciones generales
Un total de 16 mil 665 efectivos de la Policía Nacional garantizarán el orden y protección en las elecciones generales del 7 de noviembre, afirmó este lunes el Comisionado General Jaime Vanegas, inspector general de la institución.
El mando policial destacó que los uniformados contarán con 3 mil medios de transporte, entre patrullas, camionetas, motocicletas y 600 medios de comunicación.
El Comisionado General Vanegas refirió que desde la convocatoria de las elecciones la institución está brindado protección a todas las sedes del Poder Electoral, Centro de Votación y Juntas Receptoras de Voto.
More than 16 thousand policemen will guard general elections
A total of 16,665 members of the National Police will guarantee order and protection in the general elections on November 7, said Commissioner General Jaime Vanegas, inspector general of the institution, on Monday.
The police command stressed that the uniformed men will have 3,000 means of transportation, including patrols, trucks, motorcycles and 600 means of communication.
The Commissioner General Vanegas said that since the elections were called, the institution has provided protection to all the offices of the Electoral Power, the Voting Center and the Vote Reception Boards.
