Entregan aperos de pesca a pescadores de Wountha
40 familias de pescadores de la comunidad de Whounta Bar, Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte, recibieron este 24 de diciembre un bono enviado por el Gobierno central para que reinicien sus labores, las cuales fueron afectadas por el paso de Iota y Eta.
La entrega de los bonos se realiza con el objetivo de recuperar la pesca en el Caribe Norte. Dicha entrega fue realizada por autoridades Regionales, INPESCA y Promotoría Solidaria.
La inversión de los bonos consta de 870 mil dólares y en esta primera entrega en el Caribe Norte se invertirán 52 mil córdobas, aprobados en la reciente reforma al Presupuesto General de la República, destacó este pasado miércoles la vicepresidenta de Nicaragua, Rosario Murillo.
Whounta es una de las comunidades que desaparecieron con el paso del huracán Iota y su principal actividad es la pesca, por lo que el Gobierno e Nicaragua entrega estos equipos de pesca con la finalidad de reactivar la economía de estas familias del Caribe Norte.
They deliver fishing tools to fishermen in Wountha
40 families of fishermen from the community of Whounta Bar, Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast, received on December 24 a voucher sent by the central government to restart their work, which were affected by the passage of Iota and Eta.
The delivery of the bonds is carried out with the objective of recovering the fishing in the North Caribbean. Said delivery was made by Regional authorities, INPESCA and Promotoría Solidaria.
The investment of the bonds consists of 870 thousand dollars and in this first installment in the North Caribbean, 52 thousand cordobas will be invested, approved in the recent reform to the General Budget of the Republic, highlighted this past Wednesday the vice president of Nicaragua, Rosario Murillo.
Whounta is one of the communities that disappeared with the passage of Hurricane Iota and its main activity is fishing, for which the Government and Nicaragua deliver these fishing equipment in order to reactivate the economy of these families in the North Caribbean.
