El Ministerio de Salud continuará en el año 2020 restituyendo el derecho a la salud a la población del Caribe, con programas para fortalecer y crecer en el modelo de salud familiar y comunitario, orientado por el presidente Daniel Ortega y la vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo.

Así lo anunció en Siuna el secretario general del Minsa, doctor Carlos Cruz durante su visita en el Caribe Norte.

El doctor Cruz destacó que el modelo contempla la participación de la comunidad y la familia y “en este proceso nos estamos planteando como primera actividad crecer en número de la red comunitaria”.

La medicina natural y primeros auxilios para seguir fortaleciendo el modelo de repuesta rápida ante los desastres, será una de las prioridades del Ministerio de Salud en este año, dijo el doctor Cruz.

«Hay que fortalecer las estrategias comunitarias con el plan parto, las casas maternas que nos ha ayudado a salvar vidas en ese sentido», dijo.

Destacó que se redujo la mortalidad materna pasando de 115 muertes en el 2006 a 41 fallecidas el año pasado.

La entrega de lentes no será únicamente responsabilidad del Centro Nacional de Oftalmología, sino que se hará en cada municipio.

“Vamos a seguir fortaleciendo estas atenciones y vamos a iniciar las que son para el dolor, la acupuntura y terapias neurales en las clínicas de medicina natural, también se formará personal para atender con la terapia de Flores de Bach que son esencias naturales para el nerviosismo y depresión”, anunció el doctor Cruz.

Este año el Minsa continuará trabajando en la lucha contra el cáncer y en este año se ha venido disminuyendo la mortalidad del cáncer cérvico uterino y cáncer de mamas, «pero nos proponemos hacerle el PAP al 45 por ciento de todas las mujeres desde que inician su edad fértil hasta los 99 años».

El secretario general del Minsa anunció que este año se fortalecerá el programa de salud mental en diversos puntos del país en las unidades de salud, se continuará trabajando en la lucha anti epidémica con la eliminación del mosquito.

“Se impulsarán las campañas de vacunación, las jornadas de aplicación del biorat, además de prevenir las enfermedades respiratorias y diarreicas, así el plan de verano y revisión de los alimentos que se venden en los balnearios”, afirmo el funcionario.

«Se complementará equipamiento de laparoscopía, mamógrafos, equipos de endoscopía para hacer procedimientos de gastroscopia y para este año vamos a abrir un nuevo programa que es el programa de detección del cáncer gástrico», dijo.

Otro eje será la capacitación de especialistas y personal de las unidades de salud del país porque tenemos que crecer en conocimientos y formación de los recursos humanos.

Refirió que este año se especializará a médicos en cardiología intervencionista, endoscopía avanzada, enfermería, cuidados intensivos, entre otras.

También mantendrá un vínculo de trabajo con el INSS. «Vamos a homologar lista de medicamentos y establecer un programa sobre atención al cáncer».

Con respecto a las inversiones el funcionario dijo que se continuará con la construcción del hospital departamental de Bilwi, León, Chinandega, obras que se iniciaron en el 2019 y algunas concluirán en el 2020, pero también van a iniciar 58 nuevas obras hospitalarias.

José Luis Solórzano, delegado del Gobierno, dijo que Nicaragua a partir del 2007 y gracias al comandante Daniel Ortega y la compañera Rosario Murillo inició a implementar un modelo de salud familiar y comunitaria sobre todo un sistema de salud gratuita para nuestro pueblo «estos son avances para todos los nicaragüenses».

Recordó que en el  2006 los gobiernos neoliberales tenían un sistema de salud privatizado, «la salud que era negada a la familia nicaragüense hoy gracias al comandante Daniel y la compañera Rosario Murillo tenemos un sistema de salud gratuita para todo los nicaragüenses y con los equipos necesarios y de calidad».
