«El pueblo es el que decide, manda y gobierna en este país»

Somos gracias a la mujer y existimos gracias a la mujer, es lo primero que tenemos que repetirle a los que continuamente están explotando con actitud agresiva contra la mujer, llegando al extremo de cometer crímenes, indicó este lunes el Presidente de la República, Comandante Daniel Ortega.

Durante el acto conmemorativo al Día Internacional de la Mujer celebrado en la sede de la Presidencia, el mandatario expresó que ante las continuas agresiones en contra de las féminas, la Asamblea Nacional procedió a aprobar la pena de prisión perpetua, a fin de disminuir los crímenes de odios.

“Recuerdo que mi padre cuando estábamos pequeños nos decía: a la mujer no hay que maltratarlas ni con el pétalo de una rosa, pero hay una conducta machista todavía en nuestra patria que tenemos que erradicarla y tenemos que radicarla no haciendo una guerra entre mujeres contra hombres porque entonces vamos al infierno”, resaltó.

Expresó que la conducta machista se va a erradicar haciendo conciencia, “tomando conciencia hombres y mujeres, no lanzando a pelear, ni a ver como enemigo a las mujeres contra los hombres, porque por ese camino no se va a ningún lado”.

Recordó la lucha de las mujeres por la búsqueda de equidad de género en Estados Unidos, manifestando que en ese país hace no muchos años no tenían derecho a votar ni a luchar.

“Estados Unidos y Europa se creen los defensores de los Derechos Humanos”, sin embargo, “el racismo sigue vivo allí todavía y las mujeres son víctimas del racismo”, indicó.

“De qué les sirve tanta riqueza y tanta cultura si ahí se cometen los mayores crímenes contra las mujeres, contra los niños, igual en Europa, todos los días asesinan mujeres ahí. Pero claro, como es Europa o Estados Unidos, no se rasgan las vestiduras, ahí se cometen más crímenes de los que se cometen en Nicaragua por ejemplo”, indicó el presidente.

Igualdad de cargos entre mujeres y hombre

Contextualizó que en Nicaragua se ha trabajado en la equidad de género, donde las mujeres y hombres ocupan cargos similares; por ello, indicó que el 56%. 25 del gabinete de Gobierno es conformado por mujeres y los cargos de viceministerios lo conforma un 50% de mujeres.

Agregó que los cargos en las instituciones un 47% son ocupados por las mujeres, por lo que se tiene que trabajar para alcanzar el 50%.

Indicó las mujeres forman una parte fundamental en la educación, ya que un 73% de docentes son mujeres y un 64% del personal de salud son mujeres.

El 34% de los oficiales de la Policía Nacional es conformado por mujeres, mientras que el 57 %de la junta directiva de la Asamblea Nacional lo conforman las mujeres.

Expresó que para la clase oligarca los progresos de las familias pobres les causa aversión, ya que consideran al pueblo como “chusma”, pero que “este pueblo es el que decide, el que manda, el que gobierna en este país; por eso decimos el pueblo presidente, la juventud presidente, las mujeres presidente”.

Más viviendas para la chusma, sí, más viviendas que se las merece el pueblo, esos que ellos llaman chusma no es más que la dignidad de Nicaragua”, dijo Daniel.

 451 mil 250 títulos se han entregado desde el 2007

Recordó que la Reforma Agraria que inició en 1979, con la entrega de títulos fue despojada por los vendepatrias y oligarcas desde el año 1990. “Ahora se ha retomado con el Gobierno sandinista y se han entregado miles de títulos urbanos y rurales para las familias nicaragüenses”, destacó.

Dijo que en conmemoración al Día Internacional de la Mujer “le dedicamos esta entrega total que se ha hecho en estos años de 451 mil 250 títulos de propiedad, vamos a continuar con el mismo entusiasmo, con la misma firmeza, con la misma alegría que hemos librado estas luchas, ya sea estando arriba o estando abajo, nosotros nunca claudicamos”, concluyó.

Rosario saluda a las mujeres trabajadoras y luchadoras

En este misma actividad, la Vicepresidenta de la República envió un saludo a todas las mujeres trabajadoras y luchadoras en todos los espacios, destacando que en el hogar tienen el protagonismo “y responsabilidad de transmitir valores, a como trasladamos nuestros valores tradicionales de generación en generación”.

“Somos privilegiadas porque hemos venido alcanzando importantes logros que fortalecen nuestro derecho a protagonizar en todos los espacios de participación y de poder; 50% constitucional hemos alcanzado las mujeres gracias a nuestro esfuerzo, a nuestro heroísmo, a nuestro trabajo y a un Gobierno solidario”, indicó.

“What good is so much wealth and so much culture to them if the greatest crimes against women, against children, are committed there, the same in Europe, every day women are murdered there. But of course, as it is Europe or the United States, they do not tear their clothes, more crimes are committed there than are committed in Nicaragua, for example, «said the president.

Equal positions between women and men

He contextualized that in Nicaragua work has been done on gender equality, where women and men hold similar positions; therefore, he indicated that 56%. 25 of the government cabinet is made up of women and the positions of vice-ministries are made up of 50% women.
