Mulukuku declarado campeón de la serie indígena y campesina
Mulukuku fue adjudicado como ganador del juego frente a el Naranjo que fue suspendido en el sexto episodio por lluvias, cuando estaba ganando 7×3 en la baja del sexto episodio que cayó la lluvia y fue suspendido, en Mulukuku, sede de la 34 edición del campeonato regional indígena y campesino.
El juego fue suspendido y debió continuarse este lunes en Mulukuku, pero debido a las malas condiciones del terreno de juego fue declarado ganador Mulukuku campeón y el Naranjo Sub campeón, el cual ha sido cuestionado por seguidores del Naranjo y otros fanáticos de la región que consideran que debió continuarse el partido ya que era de campeonato.
El Naranjo fue el subcampeón de la liga y la representación de Siuna quedó en tercer lugar, a pesar de haber llegado a las semifinales como el único invicto y parecía estar imparable en la serie indígena.
Siuna logro quedar en tercer lugar al derrotar a los mineros de Bonanza con marcador de 4×0.
La decisión de los organizadores del campeonato ha sido cuestionada por muchos fanáticos de los diferentes municipios del Caribe ya que consideran que el juego de campeonato debe terminar jugándose en el terreno.
No así los juegos en la etapa regular sin embargo la regla 7.02 (a) del béisbol establece que un partido puede ser suspendido por el estado del tiempo tal y como ocurrió en Mulukuku, que se suspendió en el cierre del sexto episodio.
El estado del tiempo y las condiciones similares – Reglas 7.02(a)(1) hasta la (5) tendrán prioridad en determinar si un partido declarado terminado será un partido suspendido. Si un partido es interrumpido por el estado del tiempo, y a continuación un fallo en el alumbrado o un toque de queda, o interviniendo un límite de tiempo previenen su reanudación, el partido no será un partido suspendido. Si un partido es interrumpido por un fallo en el alumbrado, y las condiciones del tiempo o del campo de juego impiden su reanudación, el partido no será un partido suspendido. Un partido puede solamente ser considerado un partido suspendido si es detenido por algunas de las seis razones especificadas en la Regla 7.02(a).
En este caso el estado del tiempo es una de las condiciones que establece la regla por tanto debió mantenerse suspendido, pero los organizadores tomaron la decisión de decretar campeón a Mulukuku.
Mulukuku declared champion of the indigenous and peasant series

The decision of the championship organizers has been questioned by many fans from the different municipalities of the Caribbean as they consider that the championship game should end up being played on the field.
Not so the games in the regular stage, however baseball rule 7.02 (a) establishes that a game can be suspended due to the weather, as happened in Mulukuku, which was suspended at the close of the sixth episode. Weather conditions and similar conditions – Rules 7.02 (a) (1) through (5) will have priority in determining whether a game declared over will be a suspended game. If a match is interrupted by the weather, and then a failure in the lighting or a curfew, or intervening a time limit prevents its resumption, the match will not be a suspended match. If a match is interrupted by a lighting failure, and weather or field conditions prevent it from resuming, the match will not be a suspended match. A match can only be considered a suspended match if it is stopped for any of the six reasons specified in Rule 7.02 (a). In this case, the weather is one of the conditions established by the rule, therefore it should have been suspended, but the organizers made the decision to declare Mulukuku champion.
