10 tramos arrasados por incendio en Bilwi
Un feroz incendio registrado la madrugada de este viernes dejó como saldo 10 tramos en cenizas, 15 con afectaciones parciales y millonarias pérdidas en mercadería en el mercado municipal de la ciudad de Bilwi, Puerto Cabezas. en la Costa Caribe Norte Nicaragua.
El siniestro inició a eso de las 4.30 de la madrugada de este viernes. Aún se desconoce el origen del incendio que dejó sin trabajo a muchas personas que se dedican al comercio.
Los afectados se lamentan por la pérdida, que en algunos casos han trabajado toda una vida para tener un negocio propio que les generaba ingresos para el sustento de sus familias.
La actuación oportuna de los Bomberos, ENACAL, el sector privado y los mismos comerciantes que con baldes y cubetas lanzaban agua, permitió controlar el incendio. Cabe mencionar que este mercado es el más antiguo de la ciudad y los negocios en su mayoría están construidos con madera de pino, lo que propició que las llamas se propagaron rápidamente a otros tramos, sin embargo no se registran personas heridas.
El siniestro inició en un tramo grande donde había materiales combustibles, mercadería de zapatos, uniformes y utensilios de plástico para el hogar, cuyos propietarios son comerciantes del Pacífico de Nicaragua que están establecidos en el centro de compras.
Las autoridades de la Comisión Municipal y Regional de Atención de Desastres (COREPRED) se hizo presente para atender la emergencia, asimismo la Unidad Humanitaria de Rescate William Ramírez del Ejército de Nicaragua ayudó a los comerciantes a recuperar parte de la mercadería.
Autoridades locales se encargarán de poder indagar cómo fue exactamente que inició la combustión, además de especificar a cuánto ascienden las pérdidas materiales, las cuales pueden ser considerables ya que las llamas arrasaron todo a su paso.
