Pronostican invierno hasta la tercera semana de mayo en Nicaragua
El invierno se establecerá en la tercera semana de mayo, informó el Instituto Nicaragüense de Estudios Territoriales (INETER), quienes hicieron un llamado a los campesinos a considerar la siembra de sus productos.
Marcio Baca, pronosticador y Director de Meteorología del INETER, dijo que «estas lluvias que han caído en algunas zonas del país, no corresponden al invierno».
«El periodo lluvioso se espera que se instale en casi todo el territorio nacional a finales de la tercera semana de mayo; es decir del 20 de mayo en adelante, seguramente en junio ya tendremos una mayor producción de lluvias»; dijo Marcio Baca.
Baca insistió en hacer un llamado a los campesinos a que no siembren hasta que caigan al menos unas cuatro lluvias seguidas para que no se seque la milpa.
«Previo al período lluvioso siempre se dan este tipo de condiciones y luego viene el período seco, entonces lo que estamos recomendando es que si van a hacer labores de siembra; es mejor hacerlas una vez que ya tengamos de tres a cuatro días consecutivos de lluvia, es posible que esto suceda del 20 de mayo en adelante»; explicó Baca.
Lluvias en la tercera semana
Mencionó que hay posibilidades que caigan algunas lluvias en esta semana, y eso explica el fuerte calor que se siente en Nicaragua.
«Hoy lunes, miércoles y jueves se presentarán algunas lluvias al final de la tarde y durante la noche; pero serán débiles o ligeras en algunos casos, inclusive hasta podrían ser fuertes pero que llevarán un poco del calor que hemos estado sintiendo en estos días»; mencionó el pronosticador del INETER.
Los campesinos para sembrar se guían por los penachos que se forman en el cielo, otros con la fe puesta en el día de la Cruz; que se celebra este 3 de mayo. Los especialistas consideran que al menos debe de haber unos 20 centímetros de humedad en la tierra para poder sembrar los granos básicos y otros productos.

Rains in the third week
He mentioned that there are possibilities that some rains will fall this week, and that explains the strong heat that is felt in Nicaragua.
«Today Monday, Wednesday and Thursday there will be some rains at the end of the afternoon and during the night; but they will be weak or light in some cases, they could even be strong but they will carry a bit of the heat that we have been feeling these days »; the INETER forecaster mentioned.
The peasants to sow are guided by the plumes that are formed in the sky, others with the faith placed in the day of the Cross; which is celebrated this May 3. Specialists consider that there must be at least 20 centimeters of moisture in the soil to be able to sow basic grains and other products.
