Gobierno de Nicaragua y de China Taiwán entregan en Laguna de Perlas Jaulas Flotantes

El Gobierno de Nicaragua con apoyo de China Taiwán, visitó las comunidades de Tasbapaunie, Marshall Point, La Fé y Kahkabila, donde entregaron jaulas flotantes con robalos blancos juveniles para la crianza a pescadores artesanales de ese sector e la Costa Caribe Sur de Nicaragua

Taiwán acompaña al Instituto Nicaragüense de la Pesca Y Acuicultura (INPESCA), al Gobierno y Consejo Regional, los Gobiernos Territoriales y Comunales y beneficiados en el proyecto de Maricultura.

El proyecto está enfocado en desarrollar y mejorar las capacidades técnicas de todos los pescadores, así como fortalecer la comercialización y la repoblación de especies marinas como el róbalo blanco, cultivados en jaulas flotantes.

«Para que el proyecto tenga éxito deben trabajar unidos, en armonía y en comunidad» dijo Rubén López, Coordinador del Gobierno Regional.

Por su parte, el presidente Ejecutivo de INPESCA, Eddy Jackson, afirmó que a través de la colaboración de Taiwan se está dando una respuesta para cumplir el mandato del Gobierno de Nicaragua de erradicar la pobreza.

Enrique Hsie, Gerente del Proyecto, explicó que tienen como objetivos asistir a la población pesquera de Nicaragua en la transición hacia un Modelo de Maricultura con bajo impacto ambiental y aumentar sus ingresos; desarrollar las capacidades técnicas de maricultura de la población rural y Promover el desarrollo de la tecnología en la maricultura.

Government of Nicaragua and China Taiwan deliver Floating Cages to Pearl Lagoon

The Government of Nicaragua, with the support of China Taiwan, visited the communities of Tasbapaunie, Marshall Point, La Fé and Kahkabila, where they delivered floating cages with juvenile white snook for breeding to artisanal fishermen from that sector on the South Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua.

Taiwan accompanies the Nicaraguan Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (INPESCA), the Government and Regional Council, the Territorial and Community Governments and beneficiaries in the Mariculture project.

The project is focused on developing and improving the technical capacities of all fishermen, as well as strengthening the commercialization and restocking of marine species such as white snook, grown in floating cages.

«For the project to be successful, they must work together, in harmony and in community,» said Rubén López, Coordinator of the Regional Government.

For his part, the Executive President of INPESCA, Eddy Jackson, affirmed that through the collaboration of Taiwan, a response is being given to fulfill the mandate of the Nicaraguan Government to eradicate poverty.

Enrique Hsie, Project Manager, explained that their objectives are to assist the Nicaraguan fishing population in the transition towards a Mariculture Model with low environmental impact and increase their income; develop the technical capacities of mariculture of the rural population and Promote the development of technology in mariculture.
