Mario de Jesús Guido Herrera fue condenado por el titular del Juzgado de Juicio Penal de Distrito de Siuna, Felipe Úbeda Prudo a un año de prisión por ser culpable del delito de estelionato cometido en perjuicio del Medio Ambiente y los Recursos Naturales del Estado de la República de Nicaragua,

Así mismo fue condenado a la pena de cuatro (4) años de prisión y quinientos días multas, por haber sido declarado culpable del delito de corte, aprovechamiento y veda forestal y de talas en vertientes y pendientes, previsto cometido en perjuicio del Medio Ambiente y los Recursos Naturales del Estado de la República de Nicaragua.

 Mario de Jesús Guido Herrera, fue condenado, a la pena de dos (2) años de prisión y quinientos días multas, por haber sido declarado culpable del delito de talas en vertientes y pendientes, cometido en perjuicio del Medio Ambiente y los Recursos Naturales del Estado de la República de Nicaragua.

El judicial estableció en la sentencia que los delitos culpados se tienen cometidos en concurso real, las penas de prisión impuestas se cumplirán de manera sucesiva, en el orden de su respectiva gravedad, para una suma total de siete (7) años de prisión.

Las penas se cumplirán en el Centro Penal del Sistema Penitenciario Nacional ubicado en el Municipio de Matagalpa, Departamento de Matagalpa y finalizarán, provisionalmente, por su continuidad, en la fecha del día 13 de abril del 2027.

Así mismo estableció las penas de noventa días multas por el delito de estelionato, equivalente a la cantidad de C$4,487.41 (cuatro mil, cuatrocientos ochenta y siete córdobas con 41/100 centavos); y las dos penas de quinientos días multas cada una, penas impuestas por los delitos de corte, aprovechamiento y veda forestal y de talas en vertientes y pendientes, que equivalen cada una de las penas a la cantidad de C$24,930.06 (veinticuatro mil, novecientos treinta córdobas con 05/100 centavos) se cumplirán, cuando sean depositadas cada una de las cantidades dichas, en la cuenta bancaria del Sistema Penitenciario Nacional.

La suma de todos los días multas, que son un mil noventa días multas, que se deben depositar, equivalen a un total de C$54,347.52 (cincuenta y cuatro mil, trescientos cuarenta y siete córdobas con 52/100 centavos).

Con este son dos personas que han sido condenados por el judicial de Siuna, por la comisión de delitos ambientales en parte de la reserva Bosawas.

En fecha del 26 de noviembre del año 2018 en la Comunidad Cabecera de San Miguel, Reserva Natural Cerro Saslaya, Reserva de la Biosfera de Bosawas, Municipio de Siuna, Costa Caribe Norte, el acusado Mario de Jesús Guido Herrera, con conocimiento de su actuar ilícito, consciente y voluntaria sin tener derecho de ejercitar sobre el bien inmueble perteneciente al territorio de la Reserva Natural Cerro Saslaya, ofreció en venta a José Rafael Mairena Herrera, terreno (bien inmueble) con extensión de cinco y media manzanas de tierra, por la suma de 53,000 córdobas; seguidamente el ciudadano José Rafael Mairena Herrera aceptó la venta del bien inmueble, quien en virtud de ello pagó en concepto de compra del bien la suma de 53,000 córdobas.

Another convicted of environmental crimes in Bosawas

Mario de Jesús Guido Herrera was sentenced by the head of the Siuna District Criminal Trial Court, Felipe Úbeda Prudo to one year in prison for being guilty of the crime of estelionato committed to the detriment of the Environment and Natural Resources of the State of the Republic from Nicaragua,

Likewise, he was sentenced to four (4) years in prison and five hundred days of fines, for having been convicted of the crime of cutting, harvesting and forestry closure and cutting down slopes and slopes, envisaged to the detriment of the environment and the Natural Resources of the State of the Republic of Nicaragua.

 Mario de Jesús Guido Herrera, was sentenced to two (2) years in prison and five hundred days of fines, for having been convicted of the crime of felling on slopes and slopes, committed to the detriment of the Environment and Natural Resources of the State of the Republic of Nicaragua.

The court established in the sentence that the crimes guilty are committed in royal competition, the prison terms imposed will be successively served, in the order of their respective severity, for a total sum of seven (7) years in prison.

The sentences will be served in the Penal Center of the National Penitentiary System located in the Municipality of Matagalpa, Department of Matagalpa and will end, provisionally, for its continuity, on the date of April 13, 2027.

Likewise, it established the penalties of ninety days, fines for the crime of stelonate, equivalent to the amount of C $ 4,487.41 (four thousand, four hundred and eighty-seven cordobas with 41/100 cents); and the two penalties of five hundred days each, penalties imposed for the crimes of cutting, harvesting and forestry closure and logging on slopes and slopes, each equivalent to the amount of C $ 24,930.06 (twenty-four thousand, nine hundred and thirty córdobas with 05/100 cents) will be fulfilled, when each of the said amounts is deposited, in the bank account of the National Penitentiary System.

The sum of all fines, which are one thousand ninety days fines, that must be deposited, equals a total of C $ 54,347.52 (fifty-four thousand, three hundred and forty-seven cordobas with 52/100 cents).

With this, two people have been convicted by the Siuna court for committing environmental crimes in part of the Bosawas reserve.

On November 26, 2018, in the Cabecera de San Miguel Community, Cerro Saslaya Natural Reserve, Bosawas Biosphere Reserve, Siuna Municipality, North Caribbean Coast, the accused Mario de Jesús Guido Herrera, with knowledge of his actions unlawful, conscious and voluntary without having the right to exercise on the immovable property belonging to the territory of the Cerro Saslaya Natural Reserve, offered for sale to José Rafael Mairena Herrera, land (immovable property) with an extension of five and a half blocks of land, for the sum of 53,000 cordobas; Subsequently, the citizen José Rafael Mairena Herrera accepted the sale of the real estate, who by virtue of this, paid the sum of 53,000 cordobas for the purchase of the property.
