Mas de un millón de árboles serán plantados en Triangulo Minero

El Gobierno de Nicaragua por medio del Ministerio del Ambiente y los Recursos Naturales (MARENA), inicio en la región caribeña del Triángulo Minero la jornada de reforestación con la plantación de 53 mil árboles de diferentes especies, que vienen a mejorar las condiciones ambientales de la región.

En Siuna el lanzamiento se realizó con la plantación de 10, 000 árboles de las especies de Madroño, Laucaena, Caoba y Cedro Real en la comunidad Mutiwas, con el acompañamiento del Batallón Ecológico, Universidad de las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense, empresa MLR Forestal y jóvenes ambientalistas.

Norlan López Rizo, del MARENA en Triangulo Minero, explicó que esta jornada de reforestación masiva corresponde a la segunda etapa de la Campaña Verde que te quiero Verde que se extiende del mes de junio a septiembre.

El funcionario del Marena, detalló que en Siuna, Rosita, Prinzapolka y Waslala que atiende la Delegación Territorial Las Minas, se establecieron un total 53 mil plantas de diferentes especies.

Cinthia Córdoba, responsable de Medio Ambiente y Certificación de la empresa MRL Forestal, mencionó que como empresa privada están haciendo un aporte a la campaña Verde que te Quiero Verde con la restauración anual de 55 hectáreas anuales en las propiedades de MLR.

“Nosotros como empresa tenemos un vivero donde estamos haciendo la producción de plantas nativas, al igual de las plantas que utilizamos en nuestro sistema de agroforestal y a partir de esta producción de plantas nativas, nosotros estamos haciendo una estrategia de restauración ecológica que va hasta el 2037, anualmente pretendemos restaurar 55 hectáreas de todas nuestras fincas”, comentó.

  3. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and
    gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.

    There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
