Desabastecimiento, aumento de precios, tornado e imprudencia por lluvias en Caribe Norte

El desabastecimiento de combustibles es uno de los primero efectos que viven los habitantes de la ciudad e Bilwi, debido a la crecida de los rios que mantiene atrapados a los transportistas que van desde la capital y otros departamentos del país hacia Bilwi y Waspam, en la Region Autónoma de la Costa Caribe norte.

El primer indicio de escases se dio en las dos gasolineras locales que decidieron vender únicamente 300cordoboas en combustibles a los taxistas debido a los escases que hay de combustible, ya que las pipas que llevan el abastecimiento están varados en el rio Wawa donde no pueden pasar debido a la crecida del rio.

Los demás productos de consumo local se verán afectados por el incremento de los precios debido a que los comerciantes tienen que pagar más por el traslado de sus mercaderes en el rio Wawa.

Los camiones y buses cargados llegan hasta el Wawa, allí deben descargar la mercadería y cargarla  en pequeñas embarcaciones de madera, llamado cayucos, que las pasan con remo hacia el otro lado del rio, allí la descargan de los botecitos y las vuelven a cargan en otro vehículo para transpórtalos hacia Bilwi, esta operación genera un gasto adicional que se suma a los precios de los productos de consumo que llega a la población de Bilwi.  

TORNADO

En la ciudad de Bilwi este viernes un tornado ocurrido en horas del mediodía dejó tres casas sin techo y las fuertes lluvias anegaron más de cien viviendas.

Los barrios afectados son El Alemán, Poza Azul, tres sectores del Nueva Jerusalén, Periferia de Puerto Cabeza, El Caminante, Loma Verde, El Wuahlalaya y El Rosario.

El cableado de energía se lo llevó el tornado, pero las cuadrillas trabajan para restablecer el fluido, así mismo entregaron plástico a las familias y hacen trabajos para drenar el agua acumulada.

El COMUPRED de Bilwi y el Secretario Políticos están atendiendo las familias porque hay afectaciones por las intensas lluvias en varias comunidades, los puentes están llenos y el Rio Wawa Boom sigue crecido.

IMPRUDENCIA

Un bus que cubre la ruta Miranda-Kukalaya en el municipio de Bonanza, fue arrastrado por las fuertes corrientes del río sin causar víctimas humanas.

En la unidad viajaban aproximadamente unas 8 personas, quienes fueron auxiliados por pobladores del lugar. Poco después, los bomberos sacaron el bus de las aguas remolcándolo con un camión.

In the city of Bilwi this Friday, a tornado that occurred at noon left three houses without a roof and heavy rains flooded more than one hundred houses.
