Los escases de gas, combustibles, pollo, y otros productos de primera necesidad están golpeando a la ciudad de Bilwi, ante la imposibilidad de llegar hacia su destino camiones y rastras con mercadería y otros que decidieron pagar más para pasarlos provocaran incremento en los productos, confirmaron diversas fuentes consultadas por Sistema de Noticias del Caribe.

Un pobladora de Bilwi confirmó a Sistema de Noticias del Caribe que las principales distribuidoras de Gas en Puerto Cabezas no tienen producto, “no hay gas en todo Puerto hemos buscado en todas la distribuidoras y nos dicen que no hay” afirmó la pobladora.

Las lluvias mantienen el rio Wawa crecido por más de ocho días, los comerciantes han decidido pasar su mercaderes en pangas y cayucos, que están cobrando altas sumas de dinero para pasarlos de un lado a otro del rio donde transbordan para poder llegar a su destino.

La Iglesia Católica de Siuna pidió oraciones por las personas que están sufriendo productos de las inundaciones y llamo a la feligresía a ser solidarios con estas familias que sufren por las lluvias.

“Todavía la población sigue sufriendo por la crecida del rio Wawa, pedimos por los hermanos que sufren en carne propia estas inundaciones “dijo el Padre Carlos Zuniga Soto en su homilía de este domingo en la catedral protempore de Siuna Nuestro Señor de Esquipulas.

Pobladores de Bilwi dicen que no tienen gasolina los taxistas están dejando de trabajar por falta de combustible, los alimentos subirán de precios y las lluvias continúan, por lo que temen hambruna en la comunidades inundadas en el rio Wawa, Prinzapolka y Coco por daños en los cultivos.

El Comité Municipal de Prevención y Mitigación de desastres  COMUPRED  Waspam, monitorea la crecida del Río Coco, en las comunidades del territorio Indígena Li Aubra, AMASAU y Wangki Maya, por ser una zona vulnerable a inundaciones, en la que  verificaron daños en los cultivos que se encuentran en las riberas del río, así como los cultivos de musáceas, yuca, arroz y maíz.

Los cultivos en las zonas altas no presentan daños. Los escases de agua para consumo y las hormigas en las viviendas son las afectaciones más mencionadas por los originales de dicho territorio.

La situación podría agudizarse si las lluvias continúan, se pronosticas más lluvias lo que afectara más a la población de Puerto cabezas y Waspam.
