Realizan intercambio con protagonistas del proyecto de café robusta

Un total de 45 protagonistas del proyecto y el acompañamiento de los productores expertos en la materia del rubro del café Robusta, realizaron un intercambio de dos días en Nueva Guinea, Region Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Sur.

Con el fin de fortalecer los conocimientos, habilidades y destreza compartieron sus experiencias y conocimientos en la producción del café y de esta manera los protagonistas puedan escuchar, preguntar e interactuar con ellos y mejorar su aprendizaje.

La dinámica de esta experiencia de campo, es que los protagonistas conozcan dos grandes fincas (finca las flores y finca Yatoba) lo cual realizarían un recorrido en el campo para que el expositor explique todo lo relacionado en la siembra del café robusta.

El Gobierno de Nicaragua y el gobierno Regional tienen un solo objetivo, que los protagonistas puedan cambiar su condición de vida y de esta manera logren aprovechar los recursos que se les han asignado y tenga una mejor economía para sus familias dijo el director técnico del proyecto Stave Hayes

Hayes dijo que este proyecto que ha venido desarrollando el Gobierno, no solo le han garantizado acompañamiento y asistencia técnica, si no que se le ha brindado capacitaciones, insumos como: plátanos, cítricos, musácea, herramientas e insumos agrícolas para acompañar el cultivo durante su desarrollo sin dejar afuera el rubro estrella el café robusta.

Pedro Figueroa dueño de la finca » las flores» menciona cuatros puntos claves para la mejora de la siembra del café: Cuidar el medio ambiente, retención de suelo como cercas vivas, cortinas rompe vientos como frutales y lo primordial es tener en mente realizar la siembra de una manzana de café robusta al año, para mantener la economía y la sostenibilidad.

«Mi visión ha sido sembrar café pero por falta de recursos no lo había logrado, pero gracias a Dios y al gobierno que nos ha apoyado grandemente, hoy soy una productora de café» afirmó Yoconda Gutiérrez, beneficiada del proyecto.

Octavio Espinoza del municipio de KuKra Hill dijo que este intercambio ha sido una experiencia muy linda, donde lo que no sabía ahora con esta experiencia, puedo llevar una visión más amplia  para poder mejorar mi estilo d vida, gracias al gobierno hoy puedo conocer más sobre la agricultura en la siembra del café robusta.

Exchange with protagonists of the Robusta Café project
