El Bóer toma ventaja 2-0 en la serie final del pomares 2020 ante Dantos

Los Indios del Bóer asestaron el segundo flechazo de la Serie Final del Campeonato German Pomares 2020 al imponerse 5×2 a los Dantos y tomar ventaja 2-0.
La Tribu volvió a mostrarse oportuna con el madero y se encargó de atacar temprano en el marcador al veterano Gustavo Martínez quien no pudo caminar más allá del segundo episodio por la tropa visitante.
Luego de ponchar a Bismarck Rivera en el cierre del primero, Williams Vásquez conectó imparable, Edgard Montiel recibió boleto. Juan Carlos Urbina conectó doble entre jardín izquierdo y central para remolcar las dos primeras para el Bóer.
El Bóer volvió a la carga en el cierre del segundo donde produjeron una más. Luego de 1 out, Bismarck Rivera conectó imparable, las bases se congestionaron con boletos consecutivos a Williams Vásquez y Edgard Montiel que explotaron a Gustavo Martínez. Elevado de sacrificio de Juan Urbina ante el relevista Ronald Medrano empujó la tercera del Bóer.
Los Dantos descontaron en la parte alta del tercero. Ronald Garth recibió base por bolas, Benjamín Alegría conectó imparable, Omar Mendoza recibió boleto para llenar las almohadillas. Ofilio Castro con elevado de sacrificio al central remolcó la primera de los Dantos.
En el inicio del sexto la diferencia se redujo a la mínima. Ofilio Castro abrió con doble al central ante el relevista Gerald Rojas, avanzó a tercera por Wild Pitch y anotaría por rola de Henry Burton a la segunda.
El Bóer volvería al ataque en la conclusión del séptimo. Imparables consecutivos de Javier Robles y Wiston Dávila colocaron hombres en primera y segunda, Janior Montes con fuerte línea por tercera que se desvió en el guante de Omar Mendoza. Remolcó desde tercera a Robles con la cuarta carrera del Bóer.
El Bóer amarró el partido con una más en el cierre del octavo. Bismarck Rivera ligó imparable, error de Omar Mendoza en batazo de Edgard Montiel dejó hombres en primera y segunda, Juan Urbina recibió base por bolas y golpe de Claudio Hernández a Wiston Dávila facilitó la anotación de la quinta carrera para la tropa de Ronald Tiffer.
El derecho Juan Bermúdez se acreditó la victoria con 5 episodios de labor de 1 carrera limpia y 4 ponches, Gustavo Martínez cargó con la derrota en trabajo de 2.1 innings y Jimmy Bermúdez se agenció el segundo salvamento de esta serie final.
Es la quinta final en la que los Indios del Bóer se ponen en ventaja 2-0. Ganaron 3 de las 4 anteriores en la que arrancaron con 2 victorias la serie final. Se quedaron el título ante Estelí en 1975 y 1977, ante San Fernando en 1996 y perdieron ante León en 2001. Para los Dantos es la primera ocasión en la que inician 0-2 abajo una serie final.
Es la serie final número 23 en que un equipo se coloca en ventaja de 2-0. En las 22 oportunidades anteriores en 16 de ellas el equipo que arrancó con 2-0 se coronó campeón.

The Boer Indians hit the second crush of the 2020 German Pomares Championship Final Series by beating the Dantos 5 × 2 and taking a 2-0 lead.
The Tribe was once again timely with the log and was in charge of attacking the veteran Gustavo Martínez early on the scoreboard, who was unable to walk beyond the second episode due to the visiting troop.

The Dantos discounted at the top of the third. Ronald Garth walked, Benjamín Alegría hit unstoppable, Omar Mendoza got a walk to fill the pads. Ofilio Castro with a sacrifice fly to center-back drew the first of the Dantos.
At the beginning of the sixth the difference was reduced to the minimum. Ofilio Castro doubled to center off reliever Gerald Rojas, advanced to third on Wild Pitch and would score on Henry Burton’s ground to second.
The Boer would return to attack at the conclusion of the seventh. Consecutive hits by Javier Robles and Wiston Dávila placed men in first and second, Janior Montes with a strong line for third that deviated in the glove of Omar Mendoza. He towed from third to Robles with the fourth race of the Boer.
The Boer tied the game with one more at the end of the eighth. Bismarck Rivera hit unstoppable, Omar Mendoza’s error on Edgard Montiel’s hit hit left men on first and second, Juan Urbina walked and Claudio Hernández hit Wiston Dávila facilitated the scoring of the fifth run for Ronald Tiffer’s troop.
Right-hander Juan Bermúdez was credited with the victory with 5 innings of 1 earned run and 4 strikeouts, Gustavo Martínez took the loss in 2.1 innings and Jimmy Bermúdez made the second save of this final series.
It is the fifth final in which the Boer Indians have taken a 2-0 lead. They won 3 of the previous 4 in which they started the final series with 2 victories. They won the title against Estelí in 1975 and 1977, against San Fernando in 1996 and lost to León in 2001. For the Dantos it is the first time they have started a final series 0-2 down.
It is the 23rd final series in which a team has taken a 2-0 lead. In the 22 previous opportunities in 16 of them the team that started with 2-0 was crowned champion.
