Alertas en El Rama por las lluvias

Los integrantes del Comité de Prevención, Mitigación y Atención a Desastres (COMUPRED) en El Rama, están alertas para activarse en cualquier momento ante el fenómeno climático que podría afectar en los próximos días el Caribe de Nicaragua.

La vice alcaldesa Rosa María Castillo afirmó que han realizado visitas a las familias que viven en puntos vulnerables a las lluvias e inundaciones.

“Anoche (miércoles) estuvimos atendiendo a las familias del Cerro El Rama porque cada vez que hay este tipo de actividad (fenómenos climáticos) se dan deslaves, caída de materiales y ahí tenemos familias que debemos atender”, indicó Castillo.

Reiteró que están atentos al llamado de las autoridades del SINAPRED para activar los planes de prevención y respuesta ante emergencias.

Alerts in El Rama for the rains

The members of the Committee for Prevention, Mitigation and Attention to Disasters (COMUPRED) in El Rama, are alert to activate at any time before the climatic phenomenon that could affect the Caribbean of Nicaragua in the coming days.

The vice mayor Rosa María Castillo affirmed that they have made visits to families living in areas vulnerable to rains and floods.

«Last night (Wednesday) we were attending to the families of Cerro El Rama because every time there is this type of activity (climatic phenomena) there are landslides, fall of materials and there we have families that we must attend,» said Castillo.

She reiterated that they are attentive to the call of the SINAPRED authorities to activate prevention and response plans for emergencies.
