Rescatan a migrantes nicas abandonados en tráiler en México

Las autoridades mexicanas rescataron a 141 migrantes centroamericanos que fueron abandonados en la caja de un tráiler en Nuevo León, a menos de 200 kilómetros de la frontera de México con Estados Unidos, informaron este martes medios locales.

La policía de Juárez recibió el lunes una alerta de un vehículo sospechoso en el cruce de Bernardo Reyes y Pedro Garza Ochoa, en la zona Centro del municipio. Al llegar al sitio los oficiales y mientras revisaban el tráiler ahí estacionado, escucharon voces dentro del tráiler.

Cuando abrieron el remolque, observaron a los indocumentados, entre los cuales había hombre y mujeres mayores de edad, además de varios niños, hacinados.

Mientras que los inmigrantes eran bajados de la unidad de carga, al sitio llegaron dos hombres en un auto, uno de los cuales bajó y dijo que lo oficiales que si había algún problema con el tráiler, ya que el era el propietario.

Al saber que el vehículo era de su propiedad, los uniformados mencionaron al hombre y a su acompañante, que quedarían detenidos por el presunto tráfico de personas.

Los dos detenidos fueron identificados por la autoridad como José Gerardo G., de 34 años, y Óscar Alejandro V., de 22, ambos con domicilio en Juárez.

Ambos hombres fueron esposados y subidos a una patrulla, para luego ser puestos a disposición de la FGR por su probable responsabilidad en el traslado ilegal de los migrantes, mencionó la autoridad.

Entre los migrantes, de un total de 141, había 78 adultos, 17 adolescentes, de entre 14 a 17 años, y 46 niños, de entre 1 y 13 años. Todos ellos, se dijo, son originarios de Nicaragua, Honduras y El Salvador.
