Daniel pide a todos cuidarse para abatir la pandemia del Covid-19

El Presidente Daniel Ortega exhortó a todos los ciudadanos a continuar tomando las medidas higiénicas indispensables para frenar la pandemia del virus, sin que eso significa dejar de trabajar.

El Presidente y la Vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo encabezaron la noche del lunes el acto por el 37 aniversario de la Dirección de Operaciones Especiales (DOEP) de la Policía Nacional, realizado en la Plaza de la Revolución en Managua. En el acto participaron también el Director General la institución policial, Primer Comisionado Francisco Díaz Madriz, el Jefe del Ejército, General Julio César Avilés, entre otras autoridades del estado.

El líder sandinista expresó que siempre todos los nicaragüenses deben saber andar con precaución para cualquier tipo de enfermedad. “Hay que saber salir a la calle, haciéndolo con cuidado, hay que saber ir al trabajo, haciéndolo con cuidado”, recalcó el mandatario.

“¿Qué ha sido lo determinante para que estemos logrando enfrentar este virus, esta pandemia? Lo determinante ha sido la estabilidad, la paz”, destacó.

En ese sentido, destacó especialmente la función de la Policía Nacional y del Ejército de Nicaragua, porque son esenciales para garantizar “el respeto de los nicaragüenses todos a estar en paz, a vivir en paz para poder trabajar y para poder incluso trabajar y salir adelante en medio de una pandemia como esta que hemos estado enfrentando a la par de los otros casos dramáticos de hermanos nicaragüenses que han fallecido por múltiples enfermedades, tanto adultos, como jóvenes, como niños, los que han fallecido y fallecen todos los días por accidentes de tránsito”.

Aprovechó para denunciar a la actitud de países poderosos que se aprovechan de la pandemia para hacerse más ricos, con la creación y distribución excluyente de las vacunas.

Además, recordó que “el virus más terrible que existe en el mundo está inoculado en los genes de los que dominan la economía mundial bajo las premisas del capitalismo, es la avaricia, porque parten del principio de que sobrevive el más fuerte y no importa cuántos muertos deja en el camino”.
