Cementerio Monte Sinaí listo para las familias de Siuna

El cementerio municipal Monte Sinaí de Siuna en el Caribe Norte, está listo para recibir a las familias que están llegando a pintar y limpiar la tumba de sus seres queridos y pasar el día con sus deudos.

La prioridad del Gobierno de Nicaragua es atender las familias, en ese sentido el Gobierno Municipal de Siuna ha mantenido durante todo el año un equipo de trabajo para asegurar la limpieza de la maleza, así como de los andenes.

Una de las prioridades fue construir los andenes, allí se han construido mas de 600 metros lineales de andenes peatonales que sirven para que las familias puedan entrar sin enlodarse, afirmo el responsable de servicio municipales de la alcaldía municipal de Siuna Byron Vigil.

El funcionario de la alcaldía municipal también explico que han mejorado la seguridad con la construcción de un cerco perimetral, pero además se construyo un lugar donde los religiosos pueden llegar a realizar sus actos antes de enterrar a los difuntos.

En un recorrido hecho por TN8 se pudo constatar a las familias reparando tumbas, pintando las tumbas, allí encontramoa a Natividad Lira una profesora de Siuna, que limpiaba la tumba de su hijo Noel Figueroa Lira quien murió por la pandemia del COVID 19 en el año 2021.

La profesora Lira, recordó que su hijo no quiso ir a atenderse al hospital y fue atendido en su casa, pero cuando ya estaba complicado lo llevaron al hospital y llego solo a morir y de esa forma la familia no pudo verlo antes de enterrarlo.

CORONAS DE TODO PRECIO

La señora Flora Mendieta, dueña de una floristería local, comenzó a mover las coronas en la ultima semana de octubre, donde tiene precios desde 150 hasta 1500 córdobas dependiendo del tipo de arreglo floral que pida el cliente.

Las ventas han estado buenas ya que diario vende unas cien coronas, ya que muchas familias llegas de las comunidades a comprarle de 20 a 30 coronas y para ellos hay un precio especial ya que las llevan de reventa a sus comunidades.

Las familias de Siuna son atendidas en el cementerio el dos de noviembre con toldos, para que los emprendedores puedan vender sus productos flores naturales y las coronas, pero además llegan a vender comidas refrescos gaseosas agua helada y muchos productos de consumo.

Mount Sinai Cemetery ready for Siuna families

In a tour made by TN8, it was possible to verify the families repairing tombs, painting the tombs, there we found Natividad Lira, a teacher from Siuna, who cleaned the tomb of her son Noel Figueroa Lira who died from the COVID 19 pandemic in the year 2021.

Professor Lira recalled that her son did not want to go to the hospital and was treated at home, but when it was already complicated they took him to the hospital and he arrived alone to die and that way the family could not see him before burying him.

HORNS OF ALL PRICES

Mrs. Flora Mendieta, owner of a local flower shop, began to move the wreaths in the last week of October, where she has prices from 150 to 1,500 cordobas depending on the type of flower arrangement that the customer requests.

Sales have been good since he sells a hundred crowns a day, since many families come from the communities to buy 20 to 30 crowns from him and for them there is a special price since they take them to their communities for resale.

The families of Siuna are served in the cemetery on November 2 with awnings, so that the entrepreneurs can sell their products, natural flowers and crowns, but they also sell food, soft drinks, ice water and many consumer products.
