Fuerza naval brindaron protección y seguridad a buque en el Caribe
Efectivos militares de las capitanías de puerto de El Rama, El Bluff y Puerto Cabezas del Distrito Naval Caribe de la Fuerza Naval del Ejército de Nicaragua, brindaron protección y seguridad al arribo del buque tanque “IV Marías”.
La nave trasladó 300 láminas de zinc, 4 rollos de malla y 20 perlines, para reparar la planta generadora de energía en Bilwi que fue afectado por el paso del huracán en el municipio de Puerto Cabezas en la Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.
Las autoridades del Distrito Naval del Caribe informaron que en el buque se trasladaba 327 barriles de diésel y 2,145 barriles de búnker.
En Puerto Cabezas, se apoyó en la instalación de barreras de protección marina (Boom), para evitar la contaminación del ambiente por derrame de hidrocarburos.
Durante la recepción y despacho de esta embarcación, se emplearon 15 efectivos militares y 2 lanchas auxiliares. Asimismo, los efectivos militares cumplieron con las medidas de protección orientadas por el Ministerio de Salud (MINSA), para prevenir el contagio de la COVID-19.
La Fuerza Naval como parte del Comité Nacional de Seguridad Marítimo Portuaria, continúa apoyando a las instituciones involucradas para mantener el estatus de puertos seguros y así contribuir a la economía nacional.

Naval force provided protection and security to ship in the Caribbean
Military personnel from the port captaincies of El Rama, El Bluff and Puerto Cabezas of the Caribbean Naval District of the Nicaraguan Army Naval Force, provided protection and security upon arrival of the tanker “IV Marías”.
The ship moved 300 sheets of zinc, 4 rolls of mesh and 20 perlines, to repair the energy generating plant in Bilwi that was affected by the passage of the hurricane in the municipality of Puerto Cabezas in the Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast.
The authorities of the Caribbean Naval District reported that 327 barrels of diesel and 2,145 barrels of bunker were transferred on the ship.
In Puerto Cabezas, it relied on the installation of marine protection barriers (Boom), to avoid contamination of the environment by hydrocarbon spillage.
During the reception and dispatch of this vessel, 15 military personnel and 2 auxiliary boats were used. Likewise, the military personnel complied with the protection measures directed by the Ministry of Health (MINSA), to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Naval Force, as part of the National Committee for Maritime Port Security, continues to support the institutions involved to maintain the status of safe ports and thus contribute to the national economy.
