Siuneños recuerdan a víctimas del COVID y otras muertes violentas en el día de los difuntos

Las familias de Siuna salieron a compartir en familia y pasar un rato con sus difuntos en el cementerio Monte Sinaí, muchas de ellas llevaron preparada su comida para pasar en familia y recordar a sus deudos, en el día de los fieles difuntos en Siuna, Caribe Norte.

El cementerio lució este día completamente lleno de siuneños que llegaron a pasar el día con sus familiares que han partido a la presencia del señor, los que mas sufrieron su partida fueron aquellos que murieron producto de la pandemia del COVID 19 por que no pudieron ver a sus familiares.

El primer caso de COVID 19 fue muerte del profesor Ariel Chavarría Vigil, quien se contagio del COVID en la primera ola de la pandemia en Siuna, murió el 24 de mayo del año 2019.

El maestro Ariel Chavarri Vigil, fue secretario académico de la Universidad de las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense, sus compañeros de trabajo llegaron hoy a depositarle una ofrenda floral y decirles a sus familiares que Ariel siempre es considerado uno de los compañeros de trabajo.

TN8 también conversó con Leticia Rugama Jaime, hermana de Luz Marina Rugama Jaime, quien fue la ultima victima de la pandemia del COVID 19 en la segunda ola, en el año 2021, su muerte repentina tomo por sorpresa a los siuneños que sintieron su partida de este mundo terrenal.

Leticia Rugama señalo que la pandemia vino a afectar mucho a las familias completas y a ellos en particular la muerte de su hermana les ha afectado muchísimo.

Otra de las personas que recuerdan los siuneños es la enfermera Filomena Obando quien falleció producto de un accidente de tránsito cuando se dirigía hacia el Ayote, la camioneta en que viajaba sufrió desperfectos mecánicos y se volcó, allí murió instantáneamente la enfermera.

Pablo Ramon García Obando su hijo nos comentó que doña filomena era juna personas muy popular y alegre, se dio a querer y siempre estuvo atenta para ayudar a las familias que se lo pedían, por eso cuando su cuerpo llego a Siuna, la recibieron en una gran caravana, recordó su hijo.

Por su parte Luis Herrera Siles dijo que las tradiciones de los siuneños es pasar un día en familia y compartir como una comunidad unida.

Las ventas de coronas, arreglos florales estuvieron a la orden del día, los emprendedores aprovecharon para vender sus productos.

Siuneños remember victims of COVID and other violent deaths on the day of the dead

The families of Siuna went out to share with the family and spend time with their deceased in the Mount Sinai cemetery, many of them brought their food prepared to spend with the family and remember their relatives, on the day of the faithful departed in Siuna, Caribbean North.

TN8 also spoke with Leticia Rugama Jaime, sister of Luz Marina Rugama Jaime, who was the last victim of the COVID 19 pandemic in the second wave, in 2021, her sudden death took Siuneños by surprise who felt her departure from this earthly world.

Leticia Rugama pointed out that the pandemic came to affect entire families a lot and they, in particular, have been affected greatly by the death of their sister.

Another person remembered by Siuneños is nurse Filomena Obando, who died as a result of a traffic accident on her way to Ayote. The truck in which she was traveling suffered mechanical damage and overturned, the nurse died instantly there.

Pablo Ramon García Obando, her son, told us that Doña Filomena was a very popular and cheerful person, she gave herself to love and was always attentive to help the families who asked her, that’s why when her body arrived in Siuna, they received her in a great caravan, his son recalled.

For his part, Luis Herrera Siles said that the traditions of the Siuneños is to spend a day with the family and share as a united community.

The sales of crowns, flower arrangements were the order of the day, the entrepreneurs took the opportunity to sell their products.
