Tras conocer el sensible fallecimiento de su Eminencia reverendísima del Monseñor David Zywiec Sidor, el Gobierno de Nicaragua emitió una nota luctuosa donde desataca a Monseñor David como un hombre de grandes méritos cristianos.

El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de Nicaragua, expresa nuestro más sincero y profundo Agradecimiento a Dios por la vida y misión cristiana de Monseñor David Zywiec, en acompañamiento solidario a las familias pobres y necesitadas de cariño y respeto, en toda la Costa Caribe de Nicaragua y en todo el País.

Monseñor David Zywiec llegó a Nicaragua en 1974 y desde entonces se entregó al Servicio Cristiano y al reclamo de la dignidad y el reconocimiento de los derechos de los históricamente abandonados, celebrando después con bondad, generosidad y cariño, los avances y la mejoría en las vidas de tantas familias.

La partida de Monseñor David Zywiec es un evento triste para los pueblos caribeños de Nicaragua, pero al mismo tiempo es un acontecimiento que permite celebrar y honrar una vida de grandes méritos cristianos, de promoción permanente de la reconciliación, y de respaldo a una cultura de paz y bien, para Nicaragua y entre los y las nicaragüenses.

Al honrar a Monseñor David Zywiec, quien fuera el primer Obispo de la Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte de Nicaragua, del Triángulo Minero, y muy querido y respetado por todos y todas en esas Tierras de fe y esperanza, honramos su legado y seguimos comprometidos con los caminos de cristianismo, de entrega cotidiana, abnegada y afable, a la convivencia armoniosa, digna, responsable y fraternal, entre todos y todas, con todas y  todos y por el bien de todas y todos.

Nuestras sencillas y humildes Oraciones por el descanso eterno en la Luz Perpetua, para Monseñor David Zywiec, y nuestro abrazo leal y emocionado a su familia, a sus Hermanos Obispos, a Monseñor Pablo Schmitz, su Hermano en Misión, al Señor Nuncio Apostólico de Su Santidad, Monseñor Waldemar Stanislaw Sommertag, a SER Cardenal Leopoldo Brenes, y por supuesto al Santo Padre, Papa Francisco.

Su Santidad el Papa supo reconocer todas las virtudes de Monseñor David, y disponerle al frente de una Diócesis Multicultural y Multiétnica en la que desplegó todos los dones de su corazón, como discípulo de Cristo, príncipe de la paz, contribuyendo inmensamente a la tolerancia y el entendimiento fecundo, fértil y duradero, con honestidad, valentía, respeto y AMOR A NICARAGUA.

Nicaraguan Government highlights Bishop David’s love for the peoples of the Caribbean

After hearing about the sensitive death of his reverend Eminence of Monsignor David Zywiec Sidor, the Government of Nicaragua issued a lucrative note where he unleashes Monsignor David as a man of great Christian merits.

The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua, expresses our most sincere and deepest gratitude to God for the Christian life and mission of Monsignor David Zywiec, in solidarity with poor families in need of love and respect, throughout the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua and throughout the country.

Monsignor David Zywiec arrived in Nicaragua in 1974 and since then he gave himself to the Christian Service and to the claim of the dignity and recognition of the rights of the historically abandoned, later celebrating with kindness, generosity and affection, progress and improvement in lives. Of so many families.

The departure of Monsignor David Zywiec is a sad event for the Caribbean people of Nicaragua, but at the same time it is an event that allows to celebrate and honor a life of great Christian merits, of permanent promotion of reconciliation, and of support for a culture of peace and good, for Nicaragua and among Nicaraguans.

By honoring Monsignor David Zywiec, who was the first Bishop of the Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua, of the Mining Triangle, and very dear and respected by everyone in those Lands of faith and hope, we honor his legacy and continue committed to the paths of Christianity, of daily delivery, selfless and affable, to the harmonious, dignified, responsible and fraternal coexistence, among all and all, with all and all and for the good of all.

Our simple and humble Prayers for eternal rest in the Perpetual Light, for Monsignor David Zywiec, and our loyal and excited hug to his family, to his Brother Bishops, to Monsignor Pablo Schmitz, his Brother in Mission, to the Lord Apostolic Nuncio of His Holiness, Monsignor Waldemar Stanislaw Sommertag, to BE Cardinal Leopoldo Brenes, and of course the Holy Father, Pope Francis.

His Holiness the Pope knew how to recognize all the virtues of Monsignor David, and put him at the head of a Multicultural and Multiethnic Diocese in which he displayed all the gifts of his heart, as a disciple of Christ, prince of peace, contributing immensely to tolerance and the fruitful, fertile and lasting understanding, with honesty, courage, respect and LOVE TO NICARAGUA.
