Ratifican como mayordomo a alcalde de Siuna
El presbítero Carlos Zúniga, realizó la ratificación de la mayordomía del alcalde de Siuna, Otilio Duarte Herrera, durante la homilía realizada este domingo 5 de enero en la catedral Protémpore Nuestro Señor de Esquipulas.
El padre Zúniga leyó el decreto católico y en el marco de las festividades del santo patrono Nuestro Señor de Esquipulas ratifica la mayordomía de estas fiestas patronales a Otilio Duarte Herrera, alcalde del municipio de Siuna.
«Para que sea el principal rector de estas fiestas religiosas culturales, conduciendo en el marco de la palabra de Dios a los feligreses para que participen en las actividades en familia y comunidad, iniciando esta festividad el día de mañana con la santa misa y la novena del santo patrono», indica el decreto.
El alcalde de Siuna, Otilio Duarte, dijo que «Dios nos ha bendecido como católicos a todos nosotros, el año pasado le agradecimos a Dios por esas bendiciones esta es una responsabilidad para celebrar nuestro patrono y que bueno que la celebramos a inicio de año porque tenemos todo el año para trabajar por este pueblo lindo», dijo el alcalde de Siuna Otilio Duarte.
El alcalde también agradeció al Gobierno de Nicaragua por el apoyo que le da a este pueblo para seguir avanzando, solo en el año 2019, se invirtieron más de 200 millones de córdobas.

This is a responsibility to celebrate our patron and it is good that we celebrate it at the beginning of the year because We have all year to work for this beautiful town, «said the mayor of Siuna Otilio Duarte.
The mayor also thanked the Government of Nicaragua for the support he gives to this town to continue advancing, only in the year 2019, more than 200 million córdobas were invested.
