Rescatan embarcación y sus tripulantes en el mar Caribe
Efectivos militares y unidades de superficie, realizaron búsqueda, salvamento y rescate de 1 embarcación tipo velero de nombre “SEA DWUTREN”, de bandera estadounidense, con 2 tripulantes a bordo, la cual quedó a la deriva debido a problemas en las velas y desperfecto técnico en el motor, en las coordenadas latitud φ 13°26’00’’N, longitud λ: 083°25’00’’W, a 35 millas náuticas al sur de Puerto Cabezas, Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.
Las personas que fueron rescatadas fueron identificadas como Holman López Rodríguez de 50 años e Ismael Miranda de 31 años, ambos originarios de la República de Honduras, asimismo se les brindó atención médica primaria.
Durante la búsqueda, salvamento y rescate, se emplearon fuerzas y medios del Distrito Naval Caribe, mismos que cumplieron con las medidas de protección orientadas por el Ministerio de Salud (MINSA), para prevenir el contagio de la COVID-19.
El Ejército de Nicaragua consecuente con el lema de que “Somos el Pueblo mismo uniformado trabajando en su propio beneficio”, En cumplimiento de las misiones y tareas: “Todo por la Patria”. En defensa de la Patria y la Institución: ¡Firmeza y Cohesión!
Sailboat and its crew rescued in the Caribbean Sea
