La venta ilegal de las tierras indígenas en la Costa Caribe debe detenerse y para ello los indígenas deben abstenerse de ofrecer avales para que puedan permanecer las familias mestizas que llegan del interior del país en busca de tierras para cultivarlas.

En Bonanza tras los sucesos de Alal, se manejó que el presidente del Gobierno Territorial Mayangna Sauni As Gustavo Sebastián Lino estaba vinculado a la venta ilegal de tierras indígenas, sin embargo, en declaraciones a Sistema de Noticias del Caribe niega estar vinculado a ello.

También se le señala de entregar armas a los grupos de indígenas, sobre eso Sebastián Lino dijo que las instituciones del Gobierno saben que tienen una cantidad de guardabosques que ayudan a cuidar el territorio.

“No tendría ninguna autoridad moral para exigir que se cumpla con la ley, no me pueden demostrar que estoy vinculado a la venta ilegal y te aseguro que en asambleas hemos hablado muy fuerte sobre este asunto con los pobladores del territorio” dijo Gustavo Sebastián Lino.

El presidente del Gobierno Indignas dijo que han planteado al Gobierno y las instituciones que se aplique todo el peso de la ley a aquellos indígenas que han vendido las tierras.

SNC tiene en su poder una copia de los avales que entrego Rodrigo Bruno, quien encabezo un grupo que presuntamente atacó a una familia en Kaska en diciembre pasado y mataron a cinco personas y les quemaron la vivienda.

Líderes Mayangnas confirmaron que en la zona se armaron cuatro grupos para trabajar como guardabosques, pero dos de esos grupos se dedicaron a vender las tierras indígenas y luego iban a matar a las personas que les vendieron, como fue el caso de Kaska en diciembre pasado.

GOBIERNO ACTIVO CONFORMA COMISIÓN

Instituciones como al Policía Nacional, el Ejercito de Nicaragua, La Procuraduría General de la República, el Misterio Publico, la Secretaria de Desarrollo de la Costa Caribe, el Gobierno Regional, Marena y el Gobierno local de Bonanza, están llevando a cabo un plan integral, que contiene temas de seguridad, reconstrucción de viviendas, judicialización de los responsables del crimen cometido en Alal y Kaska, desarme y establecimiento de puestos militares en la zona.

El Gobierno de Nicaragua tiene una comisión trabajando de forma permanente en la investigación de los crímenes, pero también en aquellas personas involucradas en la venta ilegal de tierras entre ellos abogados que han facilitado el tráfico de tierras indígenas.

Una de las tareas que priorizó el Gobierno inmediatamente tras el conflicto es levantamiento de información de campo sobre ubicación de ambos grupos delictivos y la búsqueda, captura y judicialización de elementos de ambos grupos.

En las zonas de mayor conflicto el Gobierno por medio de la comisión especial creada para atender la problemática, realiza asambleas comunitarias tanto en Mayagna Sauni As como en el territorio indígena Wanky Twi Tasba Raya.

El administrador apostólico de la Diócesis de Siuna, Monseñor Pablo Schmitz emitió un pronunciamiento donde señala su preocupación por el conflicto de las tierras indígenas y propuso la realización de un foro donde las autoridades comunitarias puedan plantear ante las autoridades sus demandas y encontrar una salida al conflicto.

Institutions such as the National Police, the Nicaraguan Army, the Attorney General’s Office, the Public Mystery, the Secretary of Development of the Caribbean Coast, the Regional Government, Marena and the local Government of Bonanza, are carrying out a comprehensive plan , which contains issues of security, housing reconstruction, prosecution of those responsible for the crime committed in Alal and Kaska, disarmament and establishment of military posts in the area.

One of the tasks that the Government prioritized immediately after the conflict is the collection of field information on the location of both criminal groups and the search, capture and prosecution of elements of both groups.

In the areas of greatest conflict, the Government, through the special commission created to address the problem, holds community assemblies both in Mayagna Sauni As and in the Wanky Twi Tasba Raya indigenous territory.
