Con mucho éxito se logró realizar el primer ejercicio multiamenazas que organizó el Gobierno de Nicaragua y fue ejecutado por el COMUYPRED en Siuna y los demás municipios de la región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte y Sur.

Funcionarios del Ministerio de Educación, Ministerio de Salud, Ejército de Nicaragua, brigadistas, bomberos, Policía Nacional, universidades y la población se activaron en Siuna.

Las autoridades estiman que hubo un participacion que supera las 20 mil personas en Siuna según declaró el presindete del Comité Municipal de Prevención, Mitigación y Atención de Desastres COMUPRED de Siuna Otilio Duarte Herrera.

En Siuna se tuvieron seis escenarios evacuación por hundimiento, evacuación y sofocación de incendio en la pista de aterrizaje, rescate de víctimas por derrumbe, evacuación por derrumbe, evacuación en un centro de concentración masiva, funcionamiento de un centro de albergue e incendio en oficina de informática en URACCAN.

El también alcalde de Siuna Duarte Herrera destaco que se organizaron orientaciones para la prevención del coronavirus.

“Debemos tomar todas las medidas de prevención dadas por el Ministerio de Salud y mantener tres acciones, ante todo; la tranquilidad, la paciencia y prudencia, porque así es como vencemos estos tipos de fenómenos que nos atacan como seres humanos” afirmo el alcalde.

El presidente del Comupred dijo que las autoridades están acompañando a la población ante cualquier emergencia que se tengan en el municipio.

Lo mismo se vivió en los municipios de Puerto Cabezas, Prinzapolka, Waspam, Rosita, Bonanza, Kukra Hill, Corn Island. Laguna de Perlas, La desembocadura de Rio Grande, La Cruz de Rio Grande Paiwas, Mulukuku, donde se activaron los Comupred apoyados de los Corepred y los Corepred.

Las autoridades departamentales estiman una participación en todo el caribe de más de 400 mil personas en el ejercicio nacional multiamenazas.
