Exportaciones de café y frijol a buen ritmo
Cerca de 2 millones de quintales reportan las exportaciones de café hasta mayo, un indicativo positivo para la economía del país, dio a conocer este viernes el Ministro de Hacienda y Crédito Público, Iván Acosta.
El funcionario, detalló que ese rubro muestra una buena evolución y lo mejor es la recuperación del precio en el mercado internacional, el cual marca los 157 dólares por quintal, con un 25 a 30 por ciento por encima del precio que inició este año.
“Eso es una estimulación importante para los productores y exportadores, que podrán tener mejores ganancias con la recuperación del precio a nivel internacional, apuntalando a una mayor productividad” manifestó.
En el caso del frijol, destacó que registran ya casi un millón de quintales exportados, además de un inventario muy importante en el país que refleja buen abastecimiento y permite tener estable el precio en los mercados nacionales, con un costo de 17 córdobas la libra en las últimas semanas.
