Homenaje a Wilfredo Cuningham y Celia June en Bilwi

La diputada Florence Levy, el personal de salud y autoridades del Misterio de salud hicieron un merecido homenaje a todo el personal de salud y en especial a Wilfredo Cuningham y Celia June un destacado médico y enfermera que entregaron sus vidas en Bilwi, Region Autónoma de la Costa caribe Norte.

La diputada Florence Levy Wilson recordó la memoria de Wilfredo y Celia, a quienes depositaron un ramo de flores y las dos velas encendidas en el polideportivo Ferrera Dixon, representan que su recuerdo permanece en el corazón de cada personal de salud del Hospital Nuevo Amanecer de Bilwi.

La diputada Levy Wilson dijo que recordemos y sigamos  el ejemplo de Wilfredo y Celia que dieron su vida por el servicio de salud. Tributo a Wilfredo para mantener viva la memoria y el trabajo que él hizo en esta región.

Wilfredo Cuningham fue uno de los primeros médicos que fueron a estudiar al pacífico y regreso a la región para servir a su pueblo.

La diputada Levy Wilson dijo leyó un escrito que publico para recordar a Wilfredo al que señaló de ser quien  cuidaba de la salud de la salud de Wangki Kla, Raiti, Wangki Maya, Wangki Twi lleno de tu aroma.

Tuviste que dejar tú Wangki para ser el mairin dactarka en todo el caribe norte y te toco atender a las mujeres del Wangki y toda la región, las mujeres de tu Caribe.

Por tu vocación perdiste la noción del tiempo porque atendías el llamado las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana y los 365 días del año.-

Por la vida de las mujeres, tenías una prisa por vivir una vida  más tranquila, desde donde estés que se escuche siempre tu sonora carcajada, esto fue parte de lo que leyó la diputada Florence Levi en el homenaje a Will.

Florence Levy recordó a Celia que cuando Will estaba en el hospital siempre me comunicaba con ella. Elia es una de las personas que guardaremos en nuestros corazón por que se fueron dos amigo queridos se fue un patriarca de mi familia, llego un momento que no podíamos abrir el Facebook porque había una nota de duelo.

Para Florence, Celia Jun significa caída del cielo o mujer celestial y como creo que fuiste una mujer celestial que camino entre nosotros, tu llamado fue como el de jeremías, escogiste la profesión de enfermera y a ella te consagraste, daba gusto como usabas tu uniforme blanco y tu cofia.

La diputada dijo que el covid es una experiencia que nos ayuda a ser mejores personas o a sacar lo peor que tenemos en nosotros, en el caso del personal del hospital Nuevo Amanecer donde ustedes tienen que trabajar no con todos los recursos que ustedes quisieran tener, pero si con el compromiso, el amor y la entrega.

Ha habido avances pero sabemos que hay un gobierno comprometido en lograr eso, el esfuerzo del personal de salud es encomiable, ustedes han hecho lo máximo, y el sufrimiento que pasaron por Wilfredo Cuningham fue uno de los primeros médicos de la región, y Celia June fue mi maestra y ella era una de las personas con quien podía compartir.

Wilfredo Cuningham was one of the first doctors who went to study in the Pacific and returned to the region to serve his people.
