Inauguran diplomado en uso y manejo de cuencas en Bilwi

Un diplomado en uso y manejo de cuencas hídricas fue inaugurado por las autoridades del Gobierno regional de la Costa Caribe Norte, Enacal y la URACCAN en Bilwi, Region Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.

Al acto inaugural asistieron el coordinador del Gobierno Regional Carlos Alemán Cuningham, Nicolás Pereira, delegado de Enacal y Enrique Cordón vicerrector de URACCAN en Bilwi.

El diplomado tiene una duración de cinco meses y participan un total de 30 jóvenes y líderes de comunidades que colindan con el rio Likus, en la parte alta, media y baja, informaron las autoridades del caribe Norte.

El río Likus es una fuente hídrica importante para el megaproyecto de agua potable que abastecerá a la ciudad de Bilwi y sus comunidades, en la cuenca del rio Likus que requiere de protección y conservación para la sostenibilidad del proyecto de agua ene l caribe norte.

Por ello el coordinador del Gobierno Regional Carlos Alemán dijo que en esa lógica que se desarrolla este diplomado complementario al gran proyecto de agua, donde se estará captando el agua que será distribuida en todo Bilwi y comunidades, con el objetivo de reforzar los conocimientos de los y las participantes en cuanto al cuido de las fuentes hídricas y de esta manera garantizar el agua a la población beneficiada por el mega proyecto de agua potable ejecutado por el Gobierno de Nicaragua.

Diploma in watershed use and management inaugurated in Bilwi

A diploma course in the use and management of watersheds was opened by the authorities of the regional government of the North Caribbean Coast, Enacal and URACCAN in Bilwi, Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast.

The opening ceremony was attended by the coordinator of the Regional Government Carlos Alemán Cuningham ,, Nicolás Pereira, delegate of Enacal and Enrique Cordón vice-rector of URACCAN in Bilwi.

The diploma lasts for five months and a total of 30 young people and leaders of communities that border the Likus river, in the upper, middle and lower parts, participate, the authorities of the North Caribbean reported.

The Likus River is an important water source for the drinking water megaproject that will supply the city of Bilwi and its communities, in the Likus River basin that requires protection and conservation for the sustainability of the water project in the North Caribbean.

For this reason, the coordinator of the Regional Government, Carlos Alemán, said that in this logic, this diploma course is being developed to complement the great water project, where the water will be captured, which will be distributed throughout Bilwi and communities, with the aim of reinforcing the knowledge of the and the participants regarding the care of water sources and thus guaranteeing water to the population benefited by the mega potable water project executed by the Government of Nicaragua.
