Monseñor Francisco Tijerino debe adaptarse en la Costa Caribe dice Monseñor Pablo Schmitz

El Monseñor Pablo Schmitz obispo de la Diócesis de Bluefields y Administrador Apostólico de la Diócesis de Siuna, dijo que está muy agradecido con el Papa Francisco por el nombramiento del nuevo obispo de la diócesis de Bluefields el padre Francisco Tijerino Dávila.

El monseñor Pablo dijo que está contento por el nombramiento del padre Francisco porque es un hombre que tenía mucho interés en la Costa Caribe, a pesar de ser de la costa del pacifico ha mostrado un amor y un cariño especial por la gente de la Costa Caribe.

Muy poca gente ha llegado a conocer la Iglesia de la Costa Caribe pero el padre Francisco Tijerino ha mostrado su interés, tanto como rector del seminario y en el seguimiento de sus seminaristas de Leon que están estudiando en Bluefields.

El obispo de Bluefields dijo que lo que tiene que hacer el padre Francisco es ser su propia personalidad y ser abierto, debe saber que la historia la cultura, el idioma, no son como los del pacifico, sin embargo, la gente es cariñosa, y lo están esperando, ellos saben que el próximo obispo tiene que ser un nicaragüense.

Monseñor Schmitz dijo que la gente le ayudará a adaptarse, en el caribe existe el ecumenismo, los afrocaribeños de diferentes religiones y los obispos de diferentes iglesias celebraron los 50 años de vida sacerdotal, y llegaron para expresar su solidaridad con la Iglesia Católica y expresar su agradecimiento por nuestra presencia.

Pablo Schmitz dijo que no es como aquí que los pastores son anti católicos y anti marianos, allí no tenemos, la semana bíblica lo hacemos con todas las iglesias.

En la costa también hay un dialogo un deseo de llevar las cosas bien con las autoridades civiles, policía el ejército, en ese sentido siempre existía un dialogo entre el gobierno para bien del pueblo porque la Costa es bien aislada, y por eso es importante tener las relaciones con el gobierno para el bien del pueblo.

Con lo del huracán hubo muy pocos muertos solo los dos guiris eros de Bonanza que murieron por un derrumbe cuando estaba prohibido, pero tratemos de llevar relaciones cordiales, pero no vendamos los principios básicos de la Iglesia Católica.

El religioso señalo que se deben mantener críticas constructivas porque se debe aprender uno del otro, tanto el Gobierno de la Iglesia como la Iglesia del Gobierno, por ello dijo que el dialogo es sumamente importante

Después de 45 años de haber vivido en Bluefields no es fácil salir de la casa hogar, porque mucha gente lo conoce y el conoce mucha gente, dijo el monseñor.

Agrego que se siete muchísimo mejor en Bluefields que en cualquier otra ciudad de los Estados Unidos, la gente de Bluefields son parte de mi vida y la yo soy parte de ellos, no ser fácil, pero tengo que salir por el mero hecho de que el nuevo Obispo monseñor Francisco tiene el derecho de llevar la pastoral de la mejor forma, pero tiene el derecho a equivocarse, mejor estar lejos para que el tenga la libertad de pastorear la Iglesia que por medio del espíritu santo el papa le ha entregado a él.

Monseñor Pablo dijo que está agradecido con la amistad de la población costeña, y que le ayuden al monseñor Francisco, que él tiene que pasar por una conversión muy profunda, espiritual, cultural y emocional, porque de un lado del país a otro lado no es tan fácil y tiene que acostumbrarse a la lluvia de la Costa, por eso pide a la feligresía que, así como lo apoyaron a él también apoyen al monseñor Francisco.

Finalmente, el monseñor Pablo dio la bendición para todas las personas que lo escucharon, vieron y leyeron en los diferentes medios de comunicación.
