Daniel y presidente Juan Orlando Hernández se reúnen en Managua

El Presidente Daniel Ortega, la Vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo y el mandatario de Honduras Juan Orlando Hernández sostuvieron un encuentro la tarde de este viernes en las instalaciones del Puerto Salvador Allende en Managua.

Los dignatarios abordaron temas de interés para ambas naciones y el resto de Centroamérica y las afectaciones que han causado los fenómenos meteorológicos.

El Presidente Hernández está  invitando al Comandante Daniel a  una reunión virtual que se va a realizar el próximo lunes con el Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica (BCIE).

En esta reunión, Nicaragua podrá compartir su experiencia sobre el manejo de los fondos y su relación con el BCIE y poder aportar al desarrollo de la región.

En horas tempranas de este viernes, Hernández estuvo en Guatemala donde tuvo un encuentro con el Presidente de ese país, Alejandro Giammattei.

“El presidente (Alejandro) Giammattei va a hacer unas llamadas, yo voy a hacer otras para montar un esquema que nunca antes se ha visto de cara a la cooperación internacional, ya no son los bancos multilaterales, sino países amigos”, dijo Hernández tras reunión con su homólogo de Guatemala.

Desde Guatemala, Hernández dijo que espera que Nicaragua se sume a la alianza.

“Si revisamos para atrás, cada vez que se presentan fenómenos de este tipo, de lluvias destructivas, como también de sequía, ocurre en una región que es común entre Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras y Nicaragua. La propuesta es bien concreta: Guatemala y Honduras iniciaron una alianza de cara a enfrentar el cambio climático y para eso ya establecimos una reunión con el Banco Centroamericano, el presidente Giammattei llegará a Tegucigalpa el lunes, queremos hablar directamente y de manera personal con el directorio del banco”, dijo.

President Daniel Ortega, Vice President Rosario Murillo and Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández held a meeting this Friday afternoon at the Puerto Salvador Allende facilities in Managua.

The dignitaries addressed issues of interest to both nations and the rest of Central America and the effects that meteorological phenomena have caused.

President Hernández is inviting Commander Daniel to a virtual meeting that will take place next Monday with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).

At this meeting, Nicaragua will be able to share its experience on managing funds and its relationship with CABEI and being able to contribute to the development of the region.

In the early hours of this Friday, Hernández was in Guatemala where he had a meeting with the President of that country, Alejandro Giammattei.

«President (Alejandro) Giammattei is going to make some calls, I am going to make others to set up a scheme that has never been seen before in the face of international cooperation, it is no longer the multilateral banks, but friendly countries,» Hernández said after meeting with his Guatemalan counterpart.

From Guatemala, Hernández said that he hopes that Nicaragua will join the alliance.

“If we look back, every time phenomena of this type occur, of destructive rains, as well as drought, it occurs in a region that is common between Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua. The proposal is very concrete: Guatemala and Honduras started an alliance to face climate change and for that we have already established a meeting with the Central American Bank, President Giammattei will arrive in Tegucigalpa on Monday, we want to speak directly and personally with the board of directors from the bank, ”he said.
