Culmina exitosamente el proyecto de inversión de café y cacao ejecutado por el GRACCS
600 manzanas de Café y Cacao, han sido establecidas en los municipios de Laguna de Perlas, Kukra Hill y Bluefields, a través de Proyectos que coordina el Gobierno Regional Autónomo y que están en su fase de cierre tras 18 meses de ejecución, explicó el Coordinador de Gobierno en el Caribe Sur, Profesor Rubén López Espinoza.
Para el cierre de los Proyectos, las autoridades llevaron a cabo un acto y presentación de avances en la Casa de Cultura de Bluefields, con la participación de Protagonistas y representantes de instituciones como MEFCCA, INTA, Alcaldías, Consejo Regional, entre otras.
Los productores beneficiados con los proyectos, recibieron plantas de musáceas, maderables y frutales, las que ya están produciendo y comercializando, como el caso de los plátanos, «dentro de 3 años, ya vamos a ver la producción y comercialización del Café y del Cacao», explicó el técnico, Wilfredo Sobalvarro.
Los dos Proyectos de Café Robusta y los dos de Cacao, contaron con una inversión de más de 40 millones de córdobas, con apoyo del FIDA, BCIE, fondos del Gobierno Sandinista y aporte del Gobierno Regional del Caribe Sur.

The producers benefited from the projects received musaceae, timber and fruit plants, which they are already producing and marketing, as in the case of bananas, «within 3 years, we will see the production and marketing of Coffee and Cacao «, explained the coach, Wilfredo Sobalvarro.
The two Robusta Coffee Projects and the two Cacao Projects had an investment of more than 40 million córdobas, with support from IFAD, CABEI, funds from the Sandinista Government and contribution from the Regional Government of the South Caribbean.
