Universidad llega a Alto Wangki y Bocay

136 profesores de diferentes territorios indígenas Miskitos y Mayangnas de los territorios indígena Mayangna Sauni Bu, Miskito Indian Tasbaika Kum y de Kipla Sait Tasbaika, celebraron la llegada de la Universidad de las Regiones Autónomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaragüense con tres carreras que les permitirá profesionalizarse en su propio territorio en San Andrés de Bocay, en la zona especial del Alto Wangki y Bocay.

URACCAN se convirtió en la primera universidad que llego a estas tierras de pueblos originarios con las carreras del área de Ciencias de la Educación siendo estas Profesor de Educación Media de Ingles, Profesor de Educación Media de Lengua y Literatura y Profesor de Educación Media en Ciencias Naturales.

El acto inaugural se dio en la memoria del poeta universal Rubén Darío, en sus 157 aniversario de su natalicio, por lo que el maestro Efraín de Jesús Peralta Tercero, director del área de Agricultura de URACCAN dijo que la universidad URACCAN hace posible que hombres y mujeres indígenas puedan estudiar en su propio territorio y no sacarlos de sus propios espacios.

El maestro Peralta tercero, les llevó el saludo del comandante Daniel Ortega y la compañera Rosario, que son los principales impulsores de la Universidad en el campo con el cual se hace realidad el sueño de los ancestros de los pueblos originarios de la zona especial de Alto Wangki y Bocay.

Así mismo el maestro Peralta Tercero, dijo que la Rectora de URACCAN maestra Ilenia García Peralta, envía el saludo s todos los estudiantes de Alto Wangki y espera que con este proyecto revolucionario aportar al desarrollo de ese territorio indígena.

Por su parte Primitivo Centeno, coordinador del Gobierno Regional de la zona especial de Alto Wangki y Bocay dijo que solo con un Gobierno Revolucionario que dirige el comandante Daniel y la compañera Rosario se pudo lograr que la universidad legue a los pueblos originarios de esta zona.

Yader Antonio Pérez Dixon, estudiante de la Universidad en el Campo en alto Wangki y Bocay agradece al gobierno de Nicaragua y URACCAN por llevar la universidad hasta su territorio, era un sueño y hoy se hizo realidad, por eso es un día histórico para los pueblos originarios.

Por su parte Damaris Palacios Hernández, estudiante de UNICAM, agradeció eternamente al Gobierno por llevar la universidad hasta su territorio, esto es algo que esperaban desde hace mucho tiempo y ahora que tienen la oportunidad de estudiar están muy contentos.

El maestro Hermes Davis, quien está a cargo de UNICAM en el Centro Universitario regional de URACCAN en Las Minas, dijo que tienen 136 estudiantes en las tres carreras que fueron aperturadas en Alto Wangki y Bocay.
