La invasión de colonos en territorios indígenas debe detenerse, pero también los muertos que ya suman más de 50 desde que comenzó el conflicto en el Caribe hace más de 10 años.

Así lo dio a conocer en la homilía dominical el párroco de Siuna, presbítero Carlos Zúniga Soto quien habló de otros temas como los problemas que hay en la minería.

Hizo hincapié en una encíclica que emitió el Papa Francisco donde llama a proteger a los 110 gropos indígenas de la amazonia que están en peligro por la quema de la Amazonia, pero que esa misma reflexión es válida para Nicaragua donde hay conflicto por las tierras indígenas.

«Nosotros tenemos un problema de tierras indígenas, están invadiendo las tierras de los miskitos y hay unos mismos miskitos que están embarrados en pecado, algunos de ellos mismos son los encargados de hacer malos negocios, a un hombre le vendieron unas tierras con un aval y luego vino otro y le vendieron en el mismo lugar y ahí viene el bochinche y tenemos ocho muertos y ustedes lo saben», dijo el padre Carlos Zúniga.

Refirió que han escrito un documento «y ya comenzaron las reacciones, diciendo ustedes no saben a lo que se están metiendo, ese es un tipo de amenaza cualquiera».

«Hay montones de personas que saben del conflicto y nadie quiere hacer nada, pero aquí hay una Iglesia Católica, Apostólica y Romana, que sí se va a meter, alguien tiene que parar eso y esa es la Iglesia Católica, se tienen que detener los muertos que ya van más de 50 desde que comenzó ese conflicto hace 10 años, no va a seguir así y habrá que levantar la voz, maten o no maten a los sacerdotes , les guste  o no les guste,  todos los curas de la Diócesis sabemos del asunto y que Dios nos agarre confesados, pero no podemos quedarnos allí cuando las cosas las están haciendo mal», dijo el padre Zúniga Soto.

El padre Carlos hizo un llamado a no seguir invadiendo las tierras índígenas y dijo que no se puede aplaudir a los campesinos que quieren irse a meter a esa zona, «y les estamos diciendo no vayan esas tierras están en litigio, están en conflictos no se metan a problemas y vamos a seguirlo diciendo, aunque el campesino a veces no nos quiere escuchar».

Dijo que los supuestos avales son manipulaciones de algunos indígenas irresponsables, y sobre ellos también caerá la mano de Dios.

En la Costa Caribe hay algunos territorios que tienen conflictos por invasión de colonos, causados por diferentes razones, algunos de ellos por los mismos líderes que han vendido tierras con la figura de avales como lo dijo el religioso en la homilía de este domingo en Siuna.
