CNU sostiene encuentro con autoridades de la Costa Caribe en Siuna

Autoridades del Consejo Nacional de Universidades de Nicaragua, Gobierno regionales, municipales y territoriales de la Costa Caribe sostuvieron un encuentro en Siuna, Caribe Norte, para dialogar abre la educación superior para los pueblos originarios de la Costa del Caribe.

Ramona Rodríguez Pérez presidenta de Consejo nacional e Universidades de Nicaragua dijo que   es una oportunidad que tienen desde los gobiernos territoriales y regionales para seguir fortaleciendo el trabajo conjunto con los Gobiernos territoriales en la formación de jueves tanto en las comunidades en los territorios a través del programa la universidad Enel campo y los programas de becas en la universidades.

Carlos Alemán Cuningham, coordinador del Gobierno Regional del Caribe Norte, dijo que la idea del encuentro es que se pueda trabajar un programa conjunto enmarcado en lo que el CNU hace en todo el país, la universidad en el campo, el acceso a la universidad el próximo año, como asegurar que haya participación de todos los pueblos de la Costa Caribe. 

Shayra Natasha Downs Morgan, presidenta del Consejo regional de la Costa Caribe Sur dijo que la segunda etapa de la Revolución Sandinista se continúa con la educación superior en la Costa Caribe.

“Donde las universidades le llegan a las comunidades para preservar y proteger esa cultura, esas formas tradicionales de convivir en armonía con la madre tierra” afirmó la presidenta del Consejo Regional del Sur.

 Alta Hooker Blandford, rectora de URACCAN dijo que las autoridades de la Costa Caribe compartieron con el CNU, el tipo de educación superior que soñamos y aspiramos desde el Caribe.

La rectora de URACCAN dijo que este proceso ayuda a que se pueda ir desde el dialogo articulando todos los diferentes subsistemas dela educación.

José Luis Solórzano, delegado presidencial dijo que las autoridades del Costa Caribe en un encuentro histórico en el Caribe, abordando el futuro de los jóvenes indígenas, mayangnas, afrodescendientes que tienen todo el derecho de estudiar en las universidades.

Las autoridades del Consejo Nacional de Universidades compartieron un dialogo de saberes desde la diversidad, con la participación  de los gobiernos territoriales indígenas, autoridades regionales y municipales, que culmino con una noche cultural en el auditorio Mama Cheya de URACCAN en Siuna .

Authorities of the National Council of Universities of Nicaragua, regional, municipal and territorial governments of the Caribbean Coast held a meeting in Siuna, North Caribbean, to discuss higher education for the original peoples of the Caribbean Coast.

The rector of URACCAN said that this process helps to go from the dialogue articulating all the different subsystems of education.
